These renewed rises may lead to moderate flooding from Sunday afternoon. Further rainfall may occur during Sunday and into Monday, and this may cause further river level rises. Williams River: Minor flooding is continuing along the Williams River, with renewed rises occurring, and moderate flooding possible from later Sunday. The Williams River at Dungog is currently above the minor flood level (4.90 m) metres and rising. The Williams River at Dungog may reach around 6.50 metres 06:00 pm Sunday with minor flooding. Higher levels are possible The Williams River at Mill Dam Falls is currently at 6.17 metres and falling with minor flooding. Renewed rises are expected during Sunday, and the Williams River at Mill Dam Falls may reach the moderate flood level (7.60 m) Sunday afternoon. Higher levels are possible. Paterson River: Moderate flooding is occurring along the Paterson River. The Paterson River at Gostwyck Bridge is currently at 9.94 metres and falling with minor flooding. Residentsin affected areas need to consider the impact of potential isolations. I have contacte...d Dungog council for info about animal areas, and the closest safe place with yards is Dungog showground. UPDATE: Council have contacted me again and in an Emergency only, Gresford Showground will be available to use for animals.
