25.01.2022 A sensory experience that was a great discussion starter amongst our gumnuts. We spoke about the different animals, foods that they eat, sounds that they make and different types of animal habitats.



25.01.2022 Today at Bundilla we are celebrating Diwali and part of our celebrations included creating Rangoli art. Rangoli provides a sense of strength, generosity and is usually created outside the door to bring good luck.

23.01.2022 Wishing our Bundilla community a beautiful Christmas. We would like to thank each and everyone of you for your ongoing support and engagement throughout 2020 because we all know what a year it was! 21.01.2022 Bonjour, today we welcomed Alex from Cocorico French to Bundilla. Alex engaged the children with a play based approach whilst learning some French words and knowledge.

17.01.2022 Our balance board provides children with the opportunity to further enhance their functional strength, spatial awareness, gross motor coordination, balance and mental focus. It also promotes imagination and creativity whilst boosting children’s development during play.

17.01.2022 Educators Brodie and Imogen drew upon their cultural background and organised a wonderful painting experience for the children to participate in for NAIDOC Week. The children were each provided a clap stick to decorate with a range of colours. The clap sticks are a wonderful multi use musical instrument that originates from Aboriginal culture.

15.01.2022 Educator Katie using the clapping sticks during morning group time as the gumnuts sing Inanay Capuana. Katie is proud to say that the children have mastered the actions. At the moment the children are in the process of learning Taba naba which they have picked up well. Taba naba is a children’s song originating in the Torres Strait Island.

14.01.2022 A new resource in our yard is the giant clear easel. The children utilised different stamps to paint on the easel before transferring these paintings onto paper.

13.01.2022 Yesterday, the Banksia’s made an alphabet soup with slime and magnetic letters. This activity encourages sensory exploration as well as supporting the children’s letter recognition.

10.01.2022 Today we had such a fantastic visit from our local fire station. Not only did the fireman share their knowledge, they also encouraged the children to explore their truck and use the fire hose.

We are eagerly looking to add an enthusiastic, fun, committed and reliable trainee to our team. The trainee will undertake a certificate lll traineeship, with a contract of 12months. The traineeship is working full time, 38hrs Monday-Friday alongside qualified Educators who offer a wealth of knowledge and support. You must be willing to work f...ull time hours, Monday-Friday. You must be willing to obtain a working with children check. You must be 18 years or older. You must be eager and committed to completing a 12month traineeship. Expected Start Date: 7/12/20

03.01.2022 We are celebrating Diwali at Bundilla, which is the Festival of Lights In recognition of this, the Gumnut’s were offered a sensory experience with coloured sand. This is called Rangoli, which is a form of art that uses ground materials such as sand to create patterns
