25.01.2022 Bundy Scottish Country Dancers celebrated 18 years of dancing, with lots of dancing and a cake. New dancers welcome.

22.01.2022 This week we celebrated a 90th Birthday with Marie one of our Life Members.

21.01.2022 This year our Christmas breakup party had a Mad Hatter Theme. We had a visit from Santa and enjoyed lots of dancing and a lovely supper. Dancing will resume on Tuesday 28th January 2020.

20.01.2022 Just to let you all know there will be no dancing on Tuesday 29th October. The hall is hopefully getting a new roof, weather permitting.

15.01.2022 Re Coronavius Pandemic and Bundy Scottish country Dancing. I have thought long and hard regarding the decision I have now made. I feel it is in the best interests of all the dancers if we refrain from dancing starting immediately. I hope we will be able to return to dancing soon when things improve. I will let you know when dancing will resume. I have made the decision as I feel we should follow the advice and self-distance ourselves with no hand shaking. Our dancing is soc...ial and hands on, so it does not follow the guidelines. None of us are getting any younger and need to take care in the short term, so we can continue to dance into the future. I know you will all be disappointed, as am I, but for our own health and the health of our fellow dancers, family and friends I hope you will understand. 10.01.2022 Our 17th Birthday celebrations were celebrated with a cake cut by one of our founding members, who was also celebrating her 90th Birthday.

09.01.2022 BSCD's Sports Theme Night of dancing was lots of fun, with dancers dressing in various sporting outfits suitable for the occasion.

09.01.2022 Just to let everyone know, I have decided to keep Bundy Scottish Country Dancers closed for the rest of this year. I will reassess the situation in early 2021. I want to keep our dancers and their families safe. I also worry that our Public Liability Insurance does not cover any virus related claims. I hope the dancing community stay safe and we can get back to our normal classes soon. Take care and stay safe.

05.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 ALERT In light of the continuing escalating Coronavirus COVID-19, The Queensland Branch Committee will suspend all Branch classes and events, including Branch Opening Social, Intermediate Day of Dance at Ropeley, Kingscliff weekend, Brisbane Reelers and Celtic Kids effective this Thursday 19th March inclusive, until further notice. This decision has not been taken lightly and is a precautionary measure to protect dancers and all members. Our priority is... to safeguard the health and well-being of all dancers. I apologise for the short notice, but we do feel this action is warranted in order to reduce exposure to this infection. Private classes may choose to either suspend classes or keep classes open.
