19.01.2022 Hello there ! Well a productive day, after washing breadtags, then I sorted them all. Into colours, and types and dirty ones, broken ones, unusual ones. I look ...at dates, colour stamps and other characteristics. This is one of the ways that the Project is a little different... because I want people to notice them, to SEE them. To recognise that they are small , but that they build up, and up and up and can become significant. I want people to collect them, and value them... and to imagine a world where we do not see them anymore because we have found better solutions, environmentally friendly ones, to bag closures and other things we use #singleuseplastics for now. 13.01.2022 Ok guys completely none bread tags related but I have spoken with Leanne from apple tree creek markets and I’m being a collection point in bundy for these items, I have been wanting to do something for the people that have been involved in these fires and this is a start, if anyone has anything at home they can donate towards this please feel free to contact me and arrange to drop off to me and I will get it over to the markets in Apple tree creek.... They are looking for lin...en, pet foods, toiletries and anything NON PERISHABLE and it will be taken down south on the 17th January, I’m sure we all have some old linen sitting in the cupboard we are not using that could be donated, it does not have to cost u anything just go through your things and donate item of no use to u, these guys are desperate for our help and every little bit counts, please spread the word and let’s get this together.... 07.01.2022 We have it from a reliable source that we currently collect 5% of bread tags in Australia, so for every bread tag we collect, there are twenty out there waiting for us - now that's a challenge! And we now have 397 collection points, so there is probably one near you, ..... or you could host one and help us get to 400! So get your family, school, child care centre, retirement village, church, community centre, bakery, cafe, or fast food joint collecting, and find a collection point on our map, or post your tags to us.
