This community demands that BRC rescind the motion that passed the 2020 Budget and then recast the Budget so that ALL RATEPAYERS - URBAN AND RURAL - do not see an increase any greater than CPI (Consumer Price Index), which is based on COST OF LIVING - which is core at this very difficult time. Each year between November and March, turtle tracks paint our shores along Mon Repos Beach, Lady Musgrave Island and Lady Elliot Island, as mother turtles haul themselves up sandy dunes to nest and emerging hatchlings erupt form their nests to make a dash to the sea.
