25.01.2022 The Bungendore War Memorial Committee are set to carry out much needed upgrades thanks to $10,000 in funding from the latest round of the NSW Government’s Commu...nity War Memorials fund. With COVID-19 impacting our ANZAC day commemorations this year, it really highlighted the importance of investing in our local memorials to ensure that we can continue to pay tribute to the selfless contributions made by the brave men and women from our region who have served and continue to do so.

25.01.2022 ANZAC Day - Cancellation It is with regret that the Bungendore War Memorial Committee (BWMC) must advise the Bungendore Community of the cancellation of this year’s Anzac Day commemorative services due to the Covid-19 Corona virus outbreak and NSW Health requirements. This will include both the Dawn and Main Service. The decision to cancel was not taken lightly as the BWMC is very aware of the impact this will have on the Bungendore community and businesses but our hands ar...e tied as we must comply with the NSW Health, Public Health (COVID-19 Mass Gatherings) Order 2020. As Anzac Day is a day of remembrance of those that have served our Country with some making the ultimate sacrifice, you are more than welcome to go to the Bungendore Memorial on Anzac Day and lay a wreath, poppy or any other memento of remembrance and pay your respects. Please ensure you adopt the social distancing advice from NSW Health. The Australian War Memorial will be televising and streaming the closed Dawn Service from the Commemorative Area and Hall of Memory at the Australian War Memorial at 5.30 am on Anzac Day. The Bungendore community is encouraged to observe the day at home by watching this service. Again the BWMC regrets that Anzac Day commemorations have been cancelled, and we hope you all remain healthy and clear of this virus.

21.01.2022 If there are any Veterans that require a position in a vehicle to allow them to participate in this years march then please contact the BWMC either by email or telephone to advise.

18.01.2022 Remembrance Day Ceremony Wednesday 11th November 2015 Muster at 10:30 for a 10:45 start at the War Memorial, Gibraltar Street, opposite the Post Office.

08.01.2022 After a successful Armistice Dinner and Dance we hope to see you for the Remembrance Day Service at the Bungendore War Memorial at 1040am Sunday 11th November.

05.01.2022 Although the commemorations were cancelled due to the Corona Virus the Student of the Bungendore Public School conducted an outstanding tribute to our Serving personnel, past and present. Well done
