24.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who has contacted us about our upcoming season! Our bushes are covered with green berries, the weather has been perfect and we're expecting a wonderful harvest. At this stage we're planning to open our season with ready picked from around 1 January 2021, followed by Pick Your Own later in the season.... Orders will open through our Facebook page as normal. We know it's been a hard year for many and we're really looking forward to welcoming you all back to the farm next year.

18.01.2022 Thanks to the Upper Williamsons Creek Landcare Group we are growing some indigenous plants on the farm. This pea-flowering plant is called Golden Tip and is native to Buninyong.

18.01.2022 We thought we'd give an update about our upcoming season! At this stage we are working towards a regular harvest in January and February, subject to the directions of the Chief Health Officer. Our plants are just starting to come out of dormancy and we're enjoying the first hint of spring in the air. ...

17.01.2022 This time of year we often see mobs of eastern grey kangaroos around the farm. They sleep under the trees during the day and come out to graze in the evening.

15.01.2022 A native Chocolate Lily flowering near the farm. These beautiful plants are from the Ballarat area and are named for their lovely chocolaty smell!

12.01.2022 A pair of kookaburras today!

11.01.2022 Another great day of picking today!

10.01.2022 It was such a beautiful sunny day today! We've been slashing the grass between the rows over the Easter weekend and it's been attracting lots of birds to the farm, including kookaburras and cockatoos today. We hope you are all going okay in this time of uncertainty.

10.01.2022 We've been busy planting lots of new blueberry bushes, including more Brigitta and Bluecrop varieties. Brigittas are an Australian developed berry now grown all around the world. They ripen later in the season and the bushes grow to almost 2 metres tall. Bluecrop bushes tend to produce heavy crops of sweet, delicious berries perfect for preserves, baking and eating fresh!

09.01.2022 Tonight's amazing sunset!

04.01.2022 We hope you are all going well, especially those who are in Melbourne. It has been a strange year! We were fortunate to get a short trip in to the Grampians before the latest restrictions were introduced, where we saw this pair of tawny frogmouths perched in a blackwood tree for the day.

03.01.2022 For years we've had a little colony of native frogs living on the farm near our shed. They're good at finding cool dark spots to hide away from the sun.

03.01.2022 Every year in the autumn flocks of choughs come to the farm. From a distance they look a little like crows, but they behave more like chooks! They spend a lot of time in large noisy groups scratching amongst the rows hunting for insects.

02.01.2022 It was a cold and wintry day on the farm today. The blueberry bushes have lost their leaves and are beginning to bud. Some have flowers and even the odd green berry already!

02.01.2022 The lovely weather we've had over Christmas is bringing the berries on beautifully. We're making a few changes to how our harvest will run this year. Sales of pre-ordered ready picked blueberries, for collection at the farm when they are ready, will start early January. As usual, orders will open on our Facebook page when the berries are fully ripe and ready to go.... PYO will begin in the second half of January. Notice of sessions will be posted on this page. COVIDSAFE conditions will apply so on days of peak demand, entry will be capped at 200 people, pre-booked through the Facebook page. Most other smaller sessions will run as usual, without the need for pre-booking. Logging at entry will be required for all sessions, either by QR code or written log. We look forward to seeing you at the farm over the summer!
