25.01.2022 Welcome to our new shirts to promote our club when out and about working in the community. Any new members wanting to come along and have a chat, our Business meetings are held every 1st Monday of the month at the RSL hall in Buninyong with a Dinner meeting held every 3rd Monday of the month, venue decided at the business meeting, So interested Pop along meet the members, and see how Lions works in your Community.

20.01.2022 Friday night BBQ, we have done it "DAD" finally up and running, Buninyong Mt Helen Lions enjoying a BBQ to recognise the hard work.

19.01.2022 "Hey look" the home of the Buninyong Mt Helen Lions Club book shop, and it's open for business, hey have a look,it's also selling the old favourite Lions Xmas cakes and Lions Puddings, now if thats not a good enough excuse to drop in, have a gander and buy a couple of novels, children's, gardening, history books just to name a few, pick up a cake or pudding as well, buzz home put the feet up with your new book, cuppa coffee or tea munching away on a bit of Lions Xmas cake, and relax. We are open Wednesday & Saturday 10.00am - 4.00pm Then Sunday's ONLY when the farmers market is on 10.00am - 2.00 pm

18.01.2022 Part of being a Lion is the way you help out when a community is need of help, heres the team pulling down fences for Blazie Aid, after the fires went through the Laharum area near Horsham.

15.01.2022 Due to the recent Fires at Scotsburn and the surrounding areas, the "Save the Date" Car Trial fun day on Sunday 17th January 2016 to help raise money for the Shorter Brothers, the Lions Clubs of Ballarat have agreed to postponed this event to another day.

BBQ, face painting, entertainment on the stage, Monster Xmas raffle in aid of the 3BA Xmas appeal, and that very special appearance of SANTA. A great family night out of free entertainment. 10.01.2022 Another great day for the Buninyong Mt Helen Lions Club and Buninyong Probus Club, Bus trip to the Woods Farming & Heritage Museum, Rupanyup, "where the past is present" a great social day out,with everybody enjoying themselves admiring not just farming equipment but the earliest sewing machines, vacuum cleaners,a matchbox collection, a vast biscuit tin collection & much more, a must for all to visit,

09.01.2022 A major annual event organised by Lions Clubs throughout Australia is the Youth of the Year competition which involves young people in a range of public speaking competitions.What gives a club enjoyment is when our Youth of the Year contestant John Brodie wins through to the next final.John has since been selected to be School Captain and says without his experience at the YOTY would not have had the confidence to pursue this role.John has now recommended that the Lions YOTY is a great way to meet new people and build confidence in yourself.

08.01.2022 Hello Everyone, I've just been part of an amazing Australia Day experience,in fact probably the most meaningful and satisfying ever. We had 14 of our Lions members host around 100 other volunteers for a memorable lunch as part of the "Need for Feed" convoy that delivered over $60,000 dollars worth of fodder to local landholders who were burnt out in the recent bushfire. A big thank you to all those who contributed today. The day went exceedingly well, everyone worked tirelessly and in great spirit and we pulled off what seemed at one stage a daunting task. The event was magnificent exposure for Lions generally and our Club and we received much praise and thanks for our role in such a successful day. It really epitomised what being a Lion is all about and held on Australia was a special touch.

06.01.2022 After 12 months of hard work, the Buninyong Mt Helen lions Community BBQ is open, with the support from all the fund raising and the community group we would like to say a BIG thanks to all sponsors, the Buninyong Community & everyone who helped in any way to support this fantastic facility. Thanks Everyone

06.01.2022 40 Year Reunion 4th October 2015,Buninyong Mt Helen Lions Club Fantastic afternoon had by all old and new members, lots of laughter & reminiscing of all the work hard and mischief the club has done over the last 40 years.
