22.01.2022 Under 16 Girls training will again be at the Buninyong Football ground this Friday 3rd July, 3:30 - 4:30. We have been given a couple of extra days to determine if we have a team to enter in the competition. If you are keen to play, please attend training on Friday.

22.01.2022 We are hoping to put together a Girls Under 13 soccer team this year and need a few more players to make this possible. If you are 10 - 13 yo and looking for an activity this could be for you! No prior soccer experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and be your best. Under 11 Red 12:00 Buninyong v Forest Rangers SC Morshead #4 Under 11 Black 1:00pm Buninyong v Creswick Morshead #4 Under 16 girls 1:15pm Buninyong v Ballarat Red Morshead #2 Please note change of venue for the Under 11 Buninyong Black team. As always, remember to social distance at the games, perhaps watch from the car or wear a mask to stay as safe as possible.

16.01.2022 Due to today's terrible weather, we will cancel training for girls Under 16 and instead hold a session on Monday 6th - same time and place 3:30 - 4:30 at Buninyong football ground. Stay warm!!

15.01.2022 All Mini-Roos training will again be at the Buninyong Football ground this Thursday 2nd July 4:00pm (including Under 11s). Please attend if you are keen to play as games start on 12th July. Registration information will be available this week.

14.01.2022 The redevelopment at Royal Park is now well underway. By next season we will have 2 full size pitches with irrigation and lighting. This is something we first started talking to council about in 2012 so its exciting that it is finally all happening. We are currently negotiating with Buninyong Football club to use their grounds for training this year and should know by the end today.

12.01.2022 Update on training tomorrow night (Thurs 25th) This will be held at the Buninyong Football ground as follows: Under 7s, 8s and 9s 4:00pm to 5:00pm Under 11s 4:30pm to 5:30pm... Bring soccer boots, shin pads and water bottles. Toilets at the footy ground will not be open so please make sure players go before training: Please be aware of the following training rules and regulations (due to Covid19): Groups of up to 20 players + coach are permitted in each training zone Can have 2 training zones (1/2 pitch = 1 training zone) Players to use hand sanitiser before and after training Don’t attend if you have any flu like symptoms Don’t attend if you have been in contact with any suspected cases of Covid19 Club representative will record names of attendees at training No spitting during training No heading of the ball Minimise handling of the ball Parents to stay a reasonable distance away Encourage parents to download Covid19 tracing app Looking forward to seeing you all back playing soccer!

11.01.2022 Training for 2020 season will commence at Royal Park as follows: Under 7s, 8s, 9s:- Thursday 12th March, 4:00 - 5:00pm Under 11s:- Thursday 12th March. 4:30 - 5:30pm Under 16 girls:- Wednesday 11th March, 4:30 - 6:00pm... Please remember to bring shin guards and water. Soccer boots are optional for the first couple of sessions if players are coming along for the first time. Registration information will be sent out once teams are confirmed. Currently other age groups have insufficient numbers but we are keen to proceed if more players for the Under 13s - Under 17s are found.

11.01.2022 Further to the post regarding games for this Sunday. We have now been advised that the Under 11s game against Bacchus Marsh will not go ahead due to Covid19 implications.

10.01.2022 The latest information from Football Victoria is that the suspension of all Soccer training and games has, at this stage, been extended to May 31st 2020. More information will be issued closer to that date. In the meantime, check out the online Skills Hub, and get involved with the #PlayAtHomeChallenge, by visiting www.playfootball.com.au/skills-hub. Football Victoria has also launched #LiveLoveFootball At Home, an all-ages campaign across multiple social channels to keep the Victorian football community entertained and engaged during the temporary suspension period.

Training for U7s through to U11s will be starting back next Thursday 25th June, with games commencing from Sunday the 12th July. 09.01.2022 Hope everyone is doing well. Hang in there - we are almost out of this 2nd lockdown and can soon get out and enjoy spring a little more! Just want to let you know that Football Vic are finally releasing information on their refunds policy later this week, so that we in turn are able to work out refunds to those who have paid fees. More info will be emailed out as soon as we know.

09.01.2022 The BDSA have announced the cancellation of the 2020 soccer season for all Juniors and MiniRoos. This decision was considered essential and appropriate in the current environment. We will have discussions over the next few days as to possible refunds of part of the fees for our players. This will depend on whether BDSA and Football Vic make any adjustments to their fees. An email will be sent out by the end of the week. Thank you to all who have supported our club during... this very short and tricky season and hopefully the players enjoyed the few games they were able to play. We look forward to welcoming you back next year at our brand new facilities at Royal Park and will keep you posted on any opening celebrations. Until then, keep on practicing in the backyard - kicking, dribbling, tackling and goal shooting if you are lucky enough to have something you can use as goals. The best players are those who practice practice practice!

08.01.2022 We have received an update regarding return to soccer training ....however restrictions are still too tight for Juniors at this stage (social distancing, only 10 per session, no headers, sanitising balls and equipment etc.) We will therefore wait for further lifting of restrictions before we recommence training. Hopefully the Mini-roos season will be able to run for Term 3. Stay safe everyone and keep practicing at home!

06.01.2022 We are currently trying to put together a Girls Under 16 team and looking for more players. Teams need to be entered by Monday 30th June so we don't have much time! We will have a light training session this Friday 26th June 3:30 to 4:30pm at Buninyong Football Ground (Forest Street) for all those interested. (remember school finishes early). 01.01.2022 We have been receiving regular updates from Football Victoria regarding protocols for soccer games and training in an effort to contain the Coronavirus outbreak. Today we were advised that all training must cease for 4 weeks commencing from tomorrow Wednesday 18th March. We will keep you posted on when training will recommence and how the 2020 BDSA season will unfold. Stay safe everyone
