23.01.2022 The Reflection Collection - Prompt #4: How Do You Self-Care? This week we encourage you to capture your self care technique through your art. Self care can be a... way of connecting to ourselves through an act of love. We nourish our bodies, keep our physical environment comfortable/clean and we complete little daily rituals that make us feel more at home in ourselves. But how do we capture this in our creative practice? Here are a couple of ideas to get you thinking below: Make a "snowman" or different shapes out of bubbles from a bath Sing or come up with a song while doing your skincare routine Dance while cooking a nutritious meal Draw/paint what you see in nature If you get outside daily, do so on a different route you haven't gone before, and draw/paint/sculpt something that stood out to you on your journey Make a poem of 'feel-good' quotes for yourself So...How do you self care? The artwork can be in any form you like (eg; drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, poetry, music or any other art form you can think of!) Remember to tag us @artsagitators and share using the hashtag #artsagitators so we can see your wonderful creations and later include them into a combined art piece. Happy creating! Tile design by @mikaylavelden and @its.pretty.good #accessibility [IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 1st Tile: A translucent square in centre has the words "How do you self care?" Written in black. 4 pink, white & orange love heart-shaped flowers sit atop a bright green background. One flower is to the left in the middle, a second flower just to the right of this situated slightly below centre, a third flower just to the right of the 2nd towards the top of the image, and the 4th flower is at the bottom-right of the image. 2nd Tile: A translucent square in the centre has "The Reflection Collection. Iso getting you in a creative slump? Join us to create art based on a weekly theme" written in black. Beneath this is a purple background with twopink flowers, one at the top right and bottom left. 3rd Tile: A translucent square in the centre has the words "Share using #artsagitators" on it in black.
