The Paul Guest Prize is an award and exhibition held biennially th...at highlights contemporary drawing practice in Australia. The Prize was initiated by former Family Court Judge and Olympic rower, The Honourable Paul Guest OAM QC and encourages artists from across Australia to engage with the important medium of drawing in contemporary art practice. The prize is open to all Australian artists (citizens of Australia or residents for 12 months) and is a non-acquisitive $15,000 prize. Artists can enter a maximum of two works completed since 1 June 2019. Works must not exceed 2 metres in any direction including frame. Cost of entry is $45. In light of the profound impact current events have had on the Australian arts sector, the Incinerator ...Art Award has been adjusted in 2020. The entry fee has been waived, and prizes include solo exhibitions to feature in the 2021 program with generous artists fees and in kind support. Open to all visual art forms, the award welcomes submissions from artists across Australia that interrogate contemporary culture with practices that either overtly engage with activism, or that operate in more subtle ways to advocate for social change. 04.01.2022 A very special event at the Bunker yesterday with Bill Chambers. A lovely man and great musician. Very engaging and wonderful stories shared with the audience. Bill and a variety of support acts made the whole afternoon very enjoyable!
