22.01.2022 Behind The Brand Hello guys! It's been a while since I introduced myself and there's a few new faces around so I thought it'd be the perfect time for you all to get to know me! Here is my story, my "why". ... My name is Rochelle, I am the mama behind Bunny Roo. We know as parents we want to create a better future for our kids. I am fortunate enough to be able to have time with my children and it's a privilege to be able to see them grow. They're my purpose . Being born overseas and growing up here, I felt what it was like not to have much. My parents taught my sister and I the value of hard work and that even the smallest steps make the biggest difference. One day you will reach your goals, and it is never impossible, as long as you are willing to try. Hence, Bunny Roo was born. We offer products that are kind to the planet and safe for little bodies. The idea for Bunny Roo began in 2017, But, it wasn't until 2019 until I really took the first step. Offering responsibly made products with re-usable packaging is at the core of our values. However, what I wanted most was to create a brand that made people smile and love. Our children's brand strives to inspire creativity and encourage imagination with colouring and game board boxes forming part of our branding. We wanted a fun way to teach kids about recycling and hands up if your child enjoys playing with boxes? We are for the magic of childhood while promoting a healthy and sustainable living. 21.01.2022 Drool Queen My little babe is such a drooly baby. Especially right now while she's cutting teeth. She is also one of those babies that enjoy wiping her hands all over her head and face while she eats . As if she's smothering herself in food . Lucky we don't have to worry about the mess on her chest while she has her bib on. It keeps the food off her clothes and it is anti-bacterial! Even if it does get super dirty you won't have to worry about washing it and mol...d developing! It will certainly stand the test of time . No matter how much she tugs at it. 20.01.2022 Scooping made easy . This a little demo of how our bowls work. As you can see, I scoop the porridge up using the curved side to ensure the food doesn't fall off the spoon. It makes it easier for children to feed themselves, which in turn boosts their confidence and promote independence. Eventually, they learn how to eat on their own. 14.01.2022 EATING HABITS As a parent we always worry about whether our children are eating enough, too much, too little or the right foods. For our family it is important to:... Get the kids involved in preparing meals - I sometimes ask Rosie to help prepare meals, chop (with supervision) and add seasoning. This way she's more likely to eat meals she's "cooked". All meals eaten together - we TRY to have our meals together, emphasis on the word TRY. Dinner and weekend breakfast is a family fav, when we we are all home and we take this as an opportunity to catch up . Finishing their meals - We try to encourage our kids to have a "full plate" of food. I've always told Rosie, that food is the fuel to her muscles, helping her run, jump and play. It also helps her brain grow, as learning takes energy! I also asked "Do you remember how we put petrol in the car to make sure it runs?" She says with enthusiasm "Yes!" I then repeat, it's like that except food is for our bodies and our minds . Stick to a routine - Kids are quite predictable and so are their meal habits (for us anyway, remember this what works for my family and may not necessarily work for yours).
