22.01.2022 We can confirm we will be entering two sides into this year competition! We will also be putting tomorrow nights proceeds from the Donation Draw towards new footballs for the two groups so please enter this weeks draw as we have used the proceeds so far to pay ongoing internet and gas bills, tractor insurance, purchase of security cameras and now will be able to fund a few new footys that would typically be covered by the general running of the football club. We have been ...very fortunate that other clubs have allowed their players to assist us in getting up particularly our 18s team in which we will be very respectful in giving these kids a game but understanding that this isnt their home club and we will wish them all the best in future football careers once the season is over. We are still have spots available in our Under 18 side so if you would like to have a kick this season we are more than willing to give you a game this season. 19.01.2022 The Bunyip Football Club is thrilled to announce Tim McGibney as our Senior Coach for 2021. Tim comes with a wealth of knowledge that he has built up over the years, and a passion for junior development and ensuring the connection continues to grow between the Junior and Senior Clubs. Tim has been involved in football at both a community and VFL level which we believe will help set us up for not only the short term, but also will ensure we have future stars coming up from the our junior ranks for years to come. Please welcome Tim, his wife Ashlee, and the three kids Jorja, Jett and Gisele to the Club in what is a very exciting chapter for the BFC.

10.01.2022 It is with great excitement that we can announce we have finalised our coaching panel for 2021. Darren Ryrie will take the role of under 16’s coach, ably assisted by Brett McNamara. Both guys have demonstrated an enormous amount of energy and passion for our club which will be perfect for this team, the future of our club. We are always looking for players in all age groups, especially the 16’s, so if you are looking for a family friendly club to join, please contact us.... We are also on the lookout for additional trainers to support our football program, so if you are a qualified trainer, keen to support our coaching staff, we would love to have you on board. Remuneration can be negotiated based on qualifications. Finally, in a new initiative, we will be introducing an elite training program for kids aged 11-13 and 14-16, kicking off in early Feb. For all of our local kids in these age groups playing juniors or starting in the under 16’s, we will be offering expert coaching and development to assist with there ambitions - wherever that may lead . We feel we are entering an exciting time and would love you to be involved

03.01.2022 Hi all, it is with great sadness that I advise you all that we have received confirmation from the Cardinia Shire that all community sport has been cancelled and that we cannot continue training and will not be playing for the next 6 weeks. This now eliminates any chance that we have of playing in 2020. Thank you to all of our volunteers who have helped keep the hope alive, but it is important that we now revert back to Stage 3 restrictions and keep the community safe

I’m talking about something bigger than catching the fat fella in your chimney, it’s the Bunyip FC 12 prizes of Xmas $10 draw. It’s that huge!! 02.01.2022 The Bunyip Football Club would like to announce that Austinn Jones and Ricky Clark will not be coaching our senior side in 2021. Both of them will be staying on the committee but feel as though it is best to have a fresh face leading the club in 2021 and beyond. In other news, Aaron Paxton and Duncan Proud have accepted the roles of coach and assistant coach at Longwarry and as disappointing as it is to lose to quality players and people around our club, we respect their deci...sion to pursue their coaching career. We will advertise for coaches in the coming days with the intention to announce a coach in the coming week. We are heading into a really important chapter of our future of which it is imperative to maintain our juniors at the club to become future senior champions whilst also making the most of our experiences list we have at hand. I am really excited about the future of our Club, and we will ensure that we find the best candidate to help us achieve the ultimate success.
