13.01.2022 PRESIDENT RELEASE: COVID-19 The World Health Organisation as you know has declared this a pandemic. This will have several outcomes and additional measures required as the outbreak continues. FV are holding meetings before our senior players kick off this weekend for Rd1 to determine what their approach is on the topic.... As a club however, we want to be on the front foot for this so as to protect our players, supporters and members. If you have a health condition or feel unwell please do not attend training. Junior members can be at risk also and we ask the parents to make sure they're across all information on the virus before determining if their child should attend training. If there is any sign that your child may be unwell, please remain at home. This may seem like an over-cautious approach. But this is our stance and we prefer over-cautious to reckless. The following football specific hygiene rules will come into effect immediately: *** - COVID-19 or not, communal use of water bottles should be avoided at all times. All players should be in possession of their own drink bottle, and should not share with any other players. - Do not share drinks, towels, lip balm, sunscreen with others (have own) - Bring hand sanitisers if you have them and use them regularly. - Limit physical contact such as avoiding shaking hands, pre or post game. This one is very important. - Limit travelling party to matches/training/sessions where possible. **** As a reminder to all members, the following hygiene practices are below: General hygiene: - Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds - If soap and water are not available, use an alcoholbased hand sanitiser - Wash or sanitise your hands before eating - Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth - Avoid close contact with people who are sick - Stay home and seek medical treatment when you are sick - Cover your mouth to cough or sneeze. We will keep you update as soon as things change Please watch this space. - Adrian . (President)

12.01.2022 Essendon Royals V Bunyip SC FFA Cup Round 3 From all of us at Bunyip SC, thank you and good luck for 2020

11.01.2022 Hello All, Last Thursday was our first attempt back at training for our older junior boys and girls teams. We have very strict guidelines that must be followed to enable us to train. Under no circumstances are people allowed to congregate in groups, to do so puts us being able to train at all in jeopardy. ... Can we ask that parents please either remain in their cars during training or drop their child off at training and pick them up at the conclusion. We will be recording the parent contact details of each child training, in case of emergency. If a parent needs to speak to anyone at the club, please feel free to do but be mindful of social distancing, and then return to your car. We can't wait for the social, inclusive aspects of our club to resume and for everyone to be able to enjoy our new club rooms and Linda's tasty meals, but for now we must all follow these social distancing requirements. -- Kind regards Rebecca Biljna Secretary Bunyip & District Soccer Club
