Women should have no more than 6 teaspoons and men no more than 9 teaspoons (that includes all the sugar in everything you eat & drink). How many teaspoons are you having per day? Start counting!! 21.01.2022 A CALORIE!! The commonly held belief that a calorie is a calorie no matter where it comes from or what the chemical or nutritional makeup of it is seems to be one of the biggest nutrition myths of all. We need to understand that a calorie from fat does not impact our bodies in the same way a calorie from sugar does. This means you can have the same amount of calories from sugars, protein or fat, but the metabolic effect will be entirely different despite the identical calorie count. This is largely because different nutrients trigger different hormonal responses and those hormonal responses determine, among other things, how much fat we accumulate. Understanding this concept is the key to making healthy food choices and thus engaging in a process of weight loss.

18.01.2022 How do you plan your week? Do you do all your shopping in one hit? Do you set a meal plan to follow so you know what your having each night? ... Do you schedule in your exercise times so you dont miss sessions? Im not sure how I survived in the past without my weekly planner and meal planner. I do know I now spend a lot less time thinking about what to eat and a lot less time travelling to and from the supermarket. Time is valuable and spending more time with my little boy after work rather than in a supermarket isle is invaluable. I wonder how you will plan your week better this week. I know Im looking forward to a smoothly run week.
