24.01.2022 PATIENT UPDATE: We are now in the process of converting all non procedural consults to Telehealth or telephone consultations, in-line with NSW Government guidelines. Whilst we understand at times there may be the need for a face to face consult, we are currently advising all patients to please stay at home and complete consults via Telehealth. Our staff are continuing to stringently triage all patients and the need for a face to face consult will be at the discretion of the ...doctor. As from 4.4.2020 the surgery will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. Please be assured our staff and doctors are working tirelessly to ensure we are here to support our patients and the community through this difficult and stressful time. If you need to contact the surgery please phone 65724888 as our online appointments have been temporarily suspended. Thank you.



23.01.2022 Osteoporosis Solutions will be onsite for the next 3 days screening for Osteoporosis. The bus will be parked in the rear car park which will limit onsite car parking during this time. Disabled car parking will remain available. We apologise for any inconvenience.

20.01.2022 Unfortunately we are experiencing telephone issues beyond our control. Our phones are diverted to a mobile phone which is limiting the number of calls we can receive at one time. Please continue to call the surgery number but it may take a few attempts to get through. 20.01.2022 INFLUENZA VACCINATION: To date our influenza vaccines have not arrived from NSW State Vaccine Centre, eligible patients are those 65 years and older, children 6 months to 5 years, pregnant women, aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and or have a chronic condition. We are currently working on running clinic based sessions to ensure all our patients meeting these criteria’s are vaccinated in a safe and timely manner. ... Our plan will be to phone our patients and book clinic appointments to facilitate safe distancing. Clinics will be run according to age and risk factors to reduce the risk of different patient cohorts being onsite at the one time. Please be patient as we will begin clinics as soon as the vaccines are available in our fridge. Thank you

12.01.2022 PATIENT ALERT: Due to the evolving Coronavirus and our infection control policies we are now limiting the waiting room to only the patient with the booked appointment, please do not bring anyone unnecessary with you. Children accompanied by 1 parent or carer, the elderly and anyone needing assistance are an exception. ... Patients are being phone triaged for every appointment and we ask that if you have a fever, flu like symptoms or cough and/or have travelled overseas in the past 14 days and/or have had contact with a person known to be COVID 19 positive or awaiting result confirmation to NOT enter our waiting room. 10.01.2022 Burdekin Park Medical Centre will be closed for routine face to face appointments on Monday October 18th as we will be running a full day COVID (Pfizer) vaccination clinic. We will have one Dr available tomorrow offering telephone consults only. If you require urgent medical attention please go to or call Singleton Hospital on 65719222. The vaccination clinic is by appointment only. Walk ins will be turned away. If you are wanting to book an appointment please call 65724888.... We have in excess of 200 booked appointments and ask for everyone to please arrive on time. We endeavour to run on time but due to the volume of bookings and unforeseen circumstances we can run a little late so please be patient. The car park will be closed and we ask that park on the street you make your way into the carpark on foot. Seating will be available and we ask that you please remain in the carpark until staff have triaged and checked you in. Please ensure you QR code on arrival and wear a mask. If you are unwell or waiting on COVID -19 swab results please do not attend for your appointment. The surgery will be open as usual from 8:30am Tuesday October 19th. 09.01.2022 PATIENT UPDATE: We are continuing to see HEALTHY patients onsite. Our reception staff are stringently triaging all appointments to ensure anyone displaying an...y form of flu like symptoms are not seen onsite. All patients with fever, cough, flulike symptoms will be offered Telehealth consults. We continue to allow only the patient with the appointment to enter our waiting room and seating has been reduced to accomodate appropriate social distancing. Please protect our reception staff and maintain a safe distance from the desk, be patient and understand our priority is to keep you and our team healthy. Thank you
