If you, or someone you know are looking to attend university next year, consider applying for the BPS study bursary. BPS will provide some financial assistance for your studies if you are successful. Check out the program online - it's not too late to take part.

Sarah McDonnell has been a member of Youth Council since 2015 and has undertaken the roles of Youth Mayor (2018 & 2019) and Secretary (2017) during this time. A very familiar face in our community, Sarah has been instrumental in the success of Youth Council over the past few years and is an amazing role model to all her peers.

01.01.2022 Introducing our 2020 Secretary, Sarah Di Guglielmo. This is Sarah's first year on Burdekin Shire Youth Council and she has jumped straight into it taking on the role of Secretary. As Secretary, Sarah takes Minutes at each of our meetings and assists with correspondence as required, learning many new skills along the way.
