10.01.2022 Due to the Queensland Government restrictions easing as of Monday 16 November, we are happy to announce that the Rhythm Edge Dance Concert - Rise Up, will return to the Burdekin Theatre stage. All tickets purchases are still valid and patrons do not need to take any action with their current bookings. 10.01.2022 Yesterday we said Merry Christmas to our patrons with two performances of 'Christmas Memories' with the stunning Mirusia Audience members were also treated to the launch of our 2021 Morning Melodies program with Cultural Venues Manager, Chris Patrick. "We kick off in February with The Great British Songbook - a singer from the East End of London called Dave who sings various British songs; we then have Gene and Judy which is a dancing musical show; the King of the Swing...ers, a show from Rhydian Lewis; Belladiva - The Skylark Project, reimagining operatic classics celebrating the world's best songwriters; then Bloom, singing the Stevie Nicks, Carole King an Linda Ronstadt songbooks; and finally this time next year, Darren Coggan will join us for another Christmas Morning Melodies." Sending a big thank you to the incredible Burdekin Friends of the Theatre for always providing a fantastic morning tea for Morning Melodies performances! 06.01.2022 What exactly is Live at the Grounds you ask? It is a drive in concert at the Ayr Showgrounds. Load up your family and friends into your car and drive in to enjoy the show. Your vehicle will be given a designated "bubble" which is your own socially distant space for everyone in your vehicle. You can sit in your car, in the back of the tray or boot or bring your own seating or blankets to sit on within your bubble. WHEN: Saturday September 19 2020 from 4:00pm...
