22.01.2022 The fishing comp over Easter was again very sucessful. People staying in the park won the tinny and went home very happy.

17.01.2022 Come on up, the weather is beautiful. Cool nights warm days and the fish are biting. Can't get much better than that.

16.01.2022 9 days till Christmas. Weather is hot hot hot. We hope every one has a wonderful Christmas and a healthy new year.

16.01.2022 The sun is shining, the skies are blue and the fish are biting. Unfortunately the Barramundi Fishing Competition has been cancelled for Easter this year but the fish are still here. Recent rain as put some fresh flow in the rivers. The roads will be open Easter Weekend so have a break, get out of town, come and throw a line in. We still have some air-conditioned cabins and rooms available!!!!

11.01.2022 Its been a big weekend so far. 14 cabins to clean today. That should keep Jake out of mischief for a few hours. Fishing has been a bit slow but I think everyone is enjoying themselves and the warm weather.

05.01.2022 Here is something you don't have happen every day in Burketown. Had a number of Buddhist tourists visit yesterday and they took time to meditate under our lovely shady trees in the park. Sorry no pics.

04.01.2022 We are all booked up for the Morning Glory Festival. Fingers crossed we will get some good morning glory clouds through. Weather conditions from Wednesday on will hopefully improve the chances.

04.01.2022 Its that time of the year again. The fishing comp on Easter Weekend. All cabins and rooms have been booked but we still have a few camp sites left. Get out of town and have a great long weekend in Burketown.

03.01.2022 I think winter is here. Everyone is running around in jumpers and long pants. Got down to a chilly 14.6 degrees this morning. At least by lunch time we will be back into shorts and t-shirts again.
