06.01.2022 Now that summer is upon us and the cost of electricity is rising I thought I might post some easy helpful energy saving tips. *Save over 500 kWh ($170) of electricity per year simply by changing six 75 Watt incandescent bulbs for 14 Watt energy efficient compact fluorescent globes. Save even more by changing to LED. Not only are you saving power, you are reducing the amount of heat radiating from the light globes.... *Get an electrician to change your pool equipment to off peak power to slash your pool costs by approximately half. *Fans use about as much electricity as a standard 60 Watt incandescent bulb, approx 2 cents per hour, a much more energy efficient option than air conditioners. Also check your fan is switched on to "summer" mode As energy costs continue to rise, hopefully you can keep your costs down with some of these tips. Chris
