22.01.2022 To the Burleigh Bombers Family As we approach the pointy end of the season I thought it was a good time to reach out to all of you about the season to date. ... Firstly I would like to thank every single person who has volunteered their time for the club this year, whether you are a coach, assistant, team manager, time keeper, goal umpire, canteen or BBQ helpers. We really do appreciate all that you do for the club. It has been a very unusual 2020, which continues to change on a weekly basis. We are fortunate to be in the situation we are in currently, but as we have all seen in recent weeks our situation could change in an instant. So it is important we continue with our Covid-19 safe practices both at training and game days. In order for us to continue during this time we must be following the AFLQ Covid safe guidelines. Keep training logs, no shared jumpers, no equipment to be used i.e bibs, tackle bags, goal posts. Water carriers must wear gloves, no sharing of job role bibs. Sign in at games either digitally or manually, use sanitiser whenever needed, bring your own drink bottles, no shared lollies or foods, maintain social distancing at all times, players and officials only on the playing surface, registered coaches and assistants only. There has been a renewed focus towards covid safety standards over the last week because of the latest outbreak in south-east Queensland. We need your support to make sure these processes are followed. The fixtures has changed many times since the restart, again for the remainder of the year I ask you all to be mindful of this and check your fixtures regularly to ensure you have the correct details for game days. Presentations will be a little different this year and we are currently looking at what we can do in this space. Team photos will not take place this year. We ask all of our families to PLEASE VOLUNTEER a small amount of time to help, especially for home games! Please ask your team manager where you can help: BBQ, canteen, timekeeping, on field or even training. As we all know, many hands make light work. Go Bombers!

AFLQ will be holding Footy4Fun Development Days across South East Queensland on the weekend of 27th/28th of March.... 09.01.2022 As you are aware a number of competitions have been restructured due to the recent border restrictions between NSW/QLD. These competitions have been re-fixtured and the next three rounds were released at midday today. As there has been movement of teams between some competitions, the ladders in the U12 South Gold & Red, U13 Girls South Indigo & Magenta and U14 South Orange & Grey have been reset....
