25.01.2022 Hi Everyone We hope that you and your families are well and remain safe through this health crisis and period of uncertainty. We have put our event planning on hold for the moment. Now it’s as important as ever to come together as a community and support each other. We thought we could perhaps start a swap thread where we share what we have to donate and what people are needing for their kids for the next season.... Most of us have increased time at home and it’s a good time to go through your children’s clothing and sort out what will no longer fit them as we head towards winter. We would also welcome your suggestions so that we can still keep supporting each other and helping our environment by shopping purposely. X Amelia, Jacki, Yvette

24.01.2022 Did you know that you can recycle your old and odd socks so easily? A friend sent me a satchel recently and I just keep it in the laundry and am adding to it with damaged and odd socks. Still haven’t solved the mystery of the missing socks but pretty cool I can now recycle what I need to.

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I’ve been over in WA last week and there quite a big Buy Nothing Movement over there. There’s a GC group that I thought you may be interested in. Generally as the group reaches 800 plus members it sprouts so eventually this GC group should sprout to individual suburbs. So the idea is that your just traveling in your local suburb to collect things and getting to know your Neighbors. I thought it was pretty cool and worth sharing Cheers Yvette x

What great weather to spend some time going through your wardrobes to grab out some no longer wanted clothing to swap on Thursday!! We just wanted to share burleigh local, Lisa’s beautiful Etsy stall selling some yummy homemade jams, chutney, relishes and lemon butter along with hair scrunchies, hanging tea towels and produce bags.
