Solar panels on all homes, a $US10,000 subsidy on the purchase of an electric car (or free electric golf buggy) for residents, massive green space, urban farms and bio-dome greenhouses, recycled water, the usual city amenities such as school, hospital, shopping malls etc - the list goes on. Our client really wanted a design that would create a more prominent entrance, a ‘facelift’ that would see the home sit more comfortably in the surroundings of this site and a spacious outdoor entertaining area overlooking the pool. 11.01.2022 So many of the original Gold Coast 'beach shacks' around Burleigh have been demolished in favour of something much larger and more contemporary. Our clients for this renovation really wanted to maintain the beach shack charm and without going too large. Raking the ceiling, adding clerestory windows and installing bi-fold doors and windows really assisted with opening up and increasing the size of the living room.
