25.01.2022 Always great to hear our members life story as Guest Speaker at our meetings. Today we had Kathryn Koch , a relatively new member with a really interesting presentation of her career journey and Rotary journey, from a Rotary Youth Exchange Student in South Africa to joining our Club!

25.01.2022 Our Club has been very fortunate to receive a Community Organisation Hardship Grant from Gold Coast City Council of $5000. This enabled us to continue our Mobility Scooter program, providing these scooters to those in need in our local community, as we lacked funds due to being unable to fundraise during Covid - 19 restrictions. We appreciate the Councils support at this time.

25.01.2022 Fantastic weather and a chance to catch up with some rotary friends .. a Bush walk at Curtis falls .. followed by am informative visit to an Opal factory .. and then lunch. It was really good to be out and about doing some physical activity

Secondary school agriculture teacher for 35 years HOD at Stanthorpe SHS Agriculture Department with commercial farming operations Access to recycled water allowed development of Banca Ridge a teaching vineyard/winery which later expanded to Qld College of Wine Tourism offering ...training at secondary, TAFE and university level Excellence in Teaching Award funded 3-month study of ag education in USA/Canada and established a sister school link with St Helena HS, Napa Valley See more
