25.01.2022 One of our students Banquo features in this series as a Credits Reader. Banquo had to audition and secured this unique role and as a result we felt it appropriate to share with the school community. The adventure story is for kids (aged 9+) and is the latest ABC Podcast. We are so incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic team of teachers, who work tirelessly for their students and our school. 13.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came along to support our Music Showcase Evening last week. After a long break due to restrictions, students really enjoyed the opportunity to perform for our school community. We would like to thank our P&C for providing the refreshments for our Music Showcase Evening and also for all their hard work throughout the year to raise money for our school. We were thrilled to hear the P&C announce a generous donation of $20 000 towards our BHSS Band, St...rings and The Arts Programs. This money will allow us to purchase several instruments which will support us to grow our Music Programs! With the P&C donation we will also purchase special music shirts for students in the Choir and Instrumental Music Programs to wear to performances. Shelley Auffret’s Real Estate logo will be on the back of the shirt in appreciation for the donation from Shelley. We are very grateful for the support from our school community and we see a bright musical future for Burleigh Heads State School, Leith Rickert, Andrew Stubbs, Georgia Callaghan The Arts Team
