25.01.2022 We popped into StonesThrow Currumbin this morning to make sure they kept the kids caravan and THEY DID! One of our favourite spots is BACK and we think it's even better with a schmick new deck, sand pit and delicious menu and coffee. 25.01.2022 The first thing that caught my eye at this park was the monkey bars. Finally monkey bars that are low enough for children to be able to get on and off themselves! Winning. 07.01.2022 Waterlily Park is a playground you should definitely visit. It’s had a recent upgrade including adding a double 40m flying fox (one seat has a full chair and seatbelt!). The play equipment is really impressive, a lot of it made out of wood, including a huge seesaw and two separate forts. There are many rope ladders/nets/webs to climb up/down/across and even a net cage where I thoroughly enjoyed capturing my three year old for a short while! Double slide, nest swing, stepping stones, wooden balancing stumps, water pump, tennis courts there is so much to do. Plus, you could even squeeze in a sneaky workout on the adult gym equipment right next to the playground or just lounge around on the huge grassed area instead whilst your little ones kicked a ball around. https://www.burleightobyronkids.com.au//waterlily-park-oc/

06.01.2022 We were so happy when we heard SWELL Sculpture Festival would be happening this year and not be added to the list of events cancelled due to COVID. We snuck down last night for a look and grabbed hot chips for dinner on the beach. We definitely suggest you take a look both during the day, and at night if you can - the sculptures really look great all lit up on the beach. This year's festival runs from 11 20 September and is open all hours with selection of sculptures lit up... from 5pm 9pm.
