12.01.2022 What a year 2020 - where do we begin . . In March we were lucky enough to perform to our sold out ALLURE show before the madness of 2020 began! .... . Lock down , thanks to COVID , saw us adjust and adapt to Over 250 online live zoom classes, 300 pre recorded and filmed classes then taking to the car park running 100 classes from our studio carpark before being able to operate in studio again. . . After being able to reopen we sold out our 4 FIERCE QUEEN shows and were able to do what we do best and that’s dance and perform.. . . As I write this it makes me so emotional to look back and reminisce on the journey we had but most importantly the journey we owned and conquered! All of this is thanks to my beautiful supportive STAFF @hayleysagedance @miss_ruby_velvet @kiasten_b @tahlia__morgan_ @clancyvikki who were there for me and Burlesque L’amour day or night and whatever I needed.... I will forever be greatful and love them so much for this ... I can never thank you enough! . . Also lastly, but certainly not least, our burlesque L’amour family who ALL continued to support and dance every step of the way. Helping this local small business survive. Ladies... I type this with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes... THANK YOU - and I love and appreciate you all more than you will ever know. This is a massive appreciation post.... this is me ,Jordyn the owner of Burlesque Lamour... just a girl who loves to dance , share her love of dance and help women to feel great and empowered and be the best version of themselves .. and my goal through our covid shutdown was to continue to deliver the best experience to my ladies and help them feel all the feels they were gaining from my classes prior to closure .... What we went through as a small business was sooo tough and unexpected. Emotional and exhausting.... but you know what we did it. And I Couldnt thank the following people enough . . My amazing dancers/dance family .... stuck by me through the whole 9 weeks and continued to support me and my business even when they had so Much going on in their own lives ... they were there for me and helped Burlesque Lamour To get through one of the toughest periods we will ever face. I appreciate each and everyone of you so much and feel honoured and privileged to know you all let alone call you a friend . . My amazing staff and beautiful friends @hayleysagedance @miss_ruby_velvet for always supporting what I have created and continually helping me and my business grow and just being 2 of the most beautiful people I know. 03.01.2022 Hi there ... . . My name is Jordyn I am the face behind the brand that is Burlesque L’amour... .... . I started this journey 7 years ago and boy oh boy how lucky and blessed do I feel to still be doing what I love alongside 250 glorious men and women ... . . So many of those who I do know sooo well and some who I don’t... but I want you to know I see you, i watch all the class videos in the group chats and cheer you on! I see the gorgeous growth in your confidence and your dance and the beautiful friendships you make with your girl squad and your beautiful teachers ( these teachers who I am sooo great full for , but that’s a whole other post as I have so much to thank them for ) I see you come so far out of your shell and can’t wait to see you shine on stage.... for those of you in my classes.... I praise you all sooo much your journey makes me smile it makes me happy and it makes me proud to be able to witness it every week in class . . This is what makes me the most proud and fills my cup.... that Burlesque L’amour gives all of you beautiful people the exact same feeling that it gives me every single day and has done for the past 7 years. It’s a feeling of empowerment, strength, fullness, pride in yourself and just a straight up sexy AF feeling that we all DESERVE to feel and own! . .
