22.01.2022 This month we're celebrating the year that has been and the year that will be. We're asking our beloved performers what have been their favourite performances of the year and just what made them special. Here's what Pirateman Michael has to say. The month of newbies! Back in August we had x4 new Burly performers on our stage. By memory, Kenjai - , Sammy Sparkles and Dolly Von Blonde all debuted on the Burly stage as well as Scarlett Vivienne Velour's first performance.... Miss Gertie Rude stage vixened that night too and it was her first time vixening for us. It was nice having a whole heap of newbies as well as our regular favourites, Miss Luna Storm (should totally win the Burly Burly award for best stage vixen), Violet V, Whiskey, Moustachio and Aye plus Dollar Dazzler our burly friend all together. It was a magical mish mash night of old and new performers and performances, which made that night my favourite Burly moment of the year! There was also a sparkly new pirate hat that graced and debuted on the Burly stage too >:D

22.01.2022 Have you been naughty or nice this year? The Christmas queen of burlesque, Violet Velour, has been writing her list and she'll be checking it twice come Wednesday night. Make sure you get yourself to the last show of the year to see just who's been naughty and nice! The first show was my highlight of the year! After hosting stars through fringe I gained so much enthusiasm, inspiration and confidence from them and I performed for the first time my uptown funk act. The crowds c...heers and responses made me glow in delight. I left my worries at the door and did what I do best....entertain and dance my heart out on stage!! Another great moment was when awesomo moustachio came running through the green room handcuffed to a steering wheel scantly dressed and the newbies give me a look of shock and I just smile and say.....welcome to burly unplugged, you'll love it here! Well for me personally I have not been part of burly all that long and so I would say that a stand out moment for me would be the Halloween night. I just remember the vibe being so awesome, it felt kind of electric. This bunch of creative people some new some old all thrown together in a whirlwind of feather and sequins and smiles. :)
