25.01.2022 Introducing our new keeper and future Belshogar mother Belshogar Diamonds & Pearls

25.01.2022 It has been a very long wait for kittens here as we haven’t had any new borns at Belshogar since last year but finally we have kittens born this week. Our 3 mothers Dessie, Passion and Fudge are going fabulously with lots of milk and so the kittens are thriving. Serenity is due to have her babies on 16th June. Di had a false pregnancy and went all the way to her due date, put on a bit of weight and produced some milk but no babies. Then 3 days later she was screaming for a boyfriend. So hopefully better luck in another 2 months for Di. I do have a big waitlist and once I know all the colours (as choc and lilac can take some time to work out) I will be in contact with everyone. Probably at least another 2 weeks.

23.01.2022 We have a Game of Thrones fan in the house. The only other show we get a reaction from our gorgeous Venus like this is the AFL. Not the league just the AFL

22.01.2022 PART THREE Two families with chocolate boys and same breed of dog 1st photo is Mocha a chocolate boy I bred this year and in his home with one of his buddies (he had many )... 2nd photo is Beans who was born in 2016 with his buddy Sonny back in early 2017. I have a video on my wall of these guys that is special too if you scroll down through my page 3rd photo is Beans and Sonny nearly 3 years later Nothing has changed except rounder and older so so fabulous

22.01.2022 We went to Australia Zoo yesterday and meet the Meerkats. Can anyone guess my attraction and why I thought they are so cute!! One of my recent kittens Moe is on the left and now in his new home with Zarni a blue girl Lisa their owner got from me earlier in the year.

21.01.2022 UPDATE.... OohLaLa has a wonderful home now and has settled in well. Thank you for your interest in our lovely girl. We are looking for a furever home for our gorgeous OohLaLa. She is retired from breeding and now deserves to be spoilt and to live the rest of her life loved and pampered. She is chocolate, 5 years old, desexed, vaccinated, healthy and all ready to go. She would suit most homes as very easy going but we would prefer a home with children at least 12 plus years of age as we don’t have young children and would like a similar type environment for her. 20.01.2022 We have a gorgeous chocolate boy and a brown girl that are ready to go to an indoor furever home. These purr machines are strong, robust, active and just a delight to cuddle. 19.01.2022 We are on holidays in Thailand and visited the Green Elephant Sanctuary yesterday which was the most incredible experience. I spent over an hour with this elephant, feeding, a mud bath and then a wash down and she would look into your eyes and make noises. So intelligent and such a special animal. If you go to Thailand don’t ride an elephant or go to the elephant shows as they are not treated humanely. This girl was bought as pregnant and she was struggling to walk up the massive hill carrying people to see the big Buddha in Phuket. When we went there last week I saw the elephants tied up in chains but did not realise how bad it is for them. And yes I am missing my cats at home terribly

19.01.2022 Apollo has been my main stud here for the last 3 years and has sired lots of gorgeous Belshogar Burmese kittens. A few months ago I decided to desex Apollo and retire him from breeding to live the rest of his life as a normal cat. Well today he went to his new home I’m sad to see him leave us but also happy for him as he will be spoilt being an only child. I’m sure he will capture their hearts very quickly. Here are some of his last photos with us over the last few weeks. We have kept his son to carry on his line here in our Burmese and hopefully his babies will be born towards the end of the year now. Belshogar Adonis, Apollo’s son is nearly ready to court his harem of Burmese ladies.

18.01.2022 UPDATE thank you our boy has his new home now and they are calling him Sunny This is our last boy available this year. He is brown, strong solid young kitten and a fabulous personality. He starts purring before you pick him up. Going to be very social and will fit into any family that has got lots of love to share. 18.01.2022 UPDATE . Thanks for your responses as this gorgeous boy has his new home now to go to. This is a young boy I bred and unfortunately his dad has become highly allergic to him and so he is in need of a lovely new home. Below is a little bit about him from his mum and dad, Michelle and Stuart. Obviously this is heartbreaking for them to have to rehome their beautiful boy and so please if you are truly interested in providing the best home for him please contact them dir...ectly It is with a heavy heart due to my husband’s allergies that we must rehome our beautiful Boston. He is playful, energetic, adventurous 22 month old Burmese boy, that loves his playtime as much as his cuddles. We are seeking a loving forever home for Boston. 17.01.2022 Just an update on Apollo in his new home. So pleased to report he is loved and living the life of a spoilt boy after his stud duties at Belshogar the last 3 years. He is doing everything I hoped he would which is sitting on kitchen benches , curled up on laps, sleeping on beds and playing games with his new owners Bob and Catherine. We are so thrilled for him Love you Apollo

15.01.2022 My litter of 9 babies went to the vet yesterday for their first vaccination and microchip and had the best time. All have homes to go to next week except 2 brown girls and this is one of them. Such characters Burmese babies

14.01.2022 This is a chocolate girl I bred called Belshogar Fudgey Momo who is now 9 mths old and she is so well trained by her owner Sarah Such a wonderful video to see how clever she is I asked Sarah if I could share it with everyone as it is so important if you are going to take Burmese out in the garden always put them on a lead. They are so easy to train like a dog with a little love and care. They learn very quickly they cannot go out the door without their lead on. Thanks Sarah for sharing

13.01.2022 I received this video today and just had to share it with everyone of Belshogar Freya with one of her owners Parker. Lots of people ask me if Burmese fetch ...... well all I can say is she fetches as good as any dog if not most as she can do it inside without bowling furniture over. Thank you Parker and Vanessa for loving her so much.

11.01.2022 I have had a few tough weeks with my health but I get so many lovely messages and photos every week of my babies and also grown up babies in their homes living their lives with their families that makes pushing through sometimes so worth it. After a fairly average day with some crappy test results back this message made my day. I just cannot take the smile off my face. Those pjs are the cutest Hi Marisa, I’m just messaging to say thank you so much for my little boy. He is so cuddly, doesn’t stop purring and doesn’t leave my side. He has the most beautiful temperament and has settled into my home so fast. Thanks again! Brenna

09.01.2022 UPDATE Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. . She has a lovely home now and left us tonight and her name will be Khaleesi We have a gorgeous brown girl available. She did have a home but with careful thought the family decided they wanted a boy. So this bright eyed purr machine is ready with her bags packed wanting someone to love her forever. 08.01.2022 Hope all the mothers of my precious Belshogar Burmese babies and all the other mothers in the world had a lovely Mother’s Day. We had a quiet but terrific day sharing our recently born litters from Di and Sky (that are between 3 and 4 weeks old) with some of their future mothers and fathers to be.

07.01.2022 UPDATE. They all have homes now and our next litter of kittens will be ready for their new homes end of January and early February. Please enquire if timing suits. 05.01.2022 Last week I dropped in to visit Sharon at the Cats Meow. I have known Sharon for a long time from her days as a vet nurse at the Cat Clinic and then a few years ago she got the gorgeous Poppy a brown Burmese girl from me to add to her cat family. (Last photo). Sharon is passionate about cats but added bonus is she loves Burmese obviously with having one of my babies on her bed at night As I owned a boarding cattery for 20 years I could spot the excellent features of the... cattery. Large, bright rooms with views and snake proof outside runs with caring staff to look after the cats. Air conditioning plus outside runs at the same time which is very cleverly done in the design of the cattery. So now that I have seen the cattery and was there during feeding times I can highly recommend the Cats Meow to look after your Treasures while on holidays. I was lucky enough to spot one of my babies all grown up and staying at the cattery too which was special. Visit their website and all their details are on the first photo. See more

05.01.2022 These are two very special boys who have travelled around Australia with their very special parents. Sue has sent me photos along the way and hopefully I might get to visit soon some of the places they have travelled too. So proud of the boys.

04.01.2022 This is our first litter born here at Belshogar this year and I am enjoying them growing up so much We have a HUGE waitlist at the moment and we won’t be taking anymore orders for kittens till next year now. If next year suits you for a Belshogar Burmese you are welcome to message me but unfortunately I won’t be able to help anyone else this year.

03.01.2022 Best room in our home on a beautiful morning like we have today is our bedroom. Usually the Burmese are laying along the window edge baking in the sun but I brought out the two hairy beds and Sunny is not giving them up as the sun still hits the end of the bed too. Lily our poodle was getting jealous and insisted on a photo too

02.01.2022 This day a year ago Belshogar Mystic had 9 big strong healthy babies. She ate like a horse through her pregnancy but always a surprise when they pop out that many. The 2nd picture is Miyuki one of Misty’s daughters on her first birthday. If you have one of the other 8 babies please send me a pic and I will add to this post. Love seeing them all grown up to see if they look like mum or dad...

02.01.2022 I had to share even though a terrible outcome for this family and their cat. Please read and hopefully it will encourage you all to keep your precious Burmese inside 100% of the time. They don’t have to be outside long for something like this to happen and most Burmese have no fear and think everyone loves them.

02.01.2022 Look how clever these two little girls are .... Belshogar Lola and Belshogar Lulu are more than half way up and nothing off the tree yet. I think a Burmese girl thing as they are too special for themselves where the boys just go up the tree any which way and knock it down I hope your Christmas trees are surviving this year.
