25.01.2022 The Isis Devilettes recorded their third consecutive victory against the Hervey Bay Seagulls, 32-18, to take out Saturday's Semi-Final at Salter Oval on Saturday. The girls will now go head-to-head with Minor Premiers, Brothers, to determine which team goes straight into the Grand Final of the Bundaberg Rugby League's Women's competition. The time and date are yet to be announced. The full story and more action photos will be posted in next Friday's edition of the Times.

24.01.2022 The Isis Devilettes made it five in a row on Saturday with a stirring, determined effort against Hervey Bay running out victors 26-18. With the bye this week, they have two weeks to prepare for a semi-final against Hervey Bay, which, if they win will see them progress to another final for the chance to be the first team into the grand final. A loss against Hervey Bay will see them get a second chance. And the Isis Devils did their home crowd proud with gutsy, determined eff...ort against Wests. 16.01.2022 It is regret I have to announce there will be no further editions of the Burnett & Isis Times. Last Friday's edition, August 25, was the last. Unfortunately, there might be some confusion caused by the announcement in that edition of an impending cover price. However, that edition, as with all other editions was printed last Tuesday. The decision to close the Times was only made on the weekend with recent developments. In fact, I was still agonising over the decision as late ...as this morning. But harsh realities had to be faced. I would like to thank all those, who in any way, have supported the Times. See more
