23.01.2022 **Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are no longer required on scene at this incident.** Ashfield (near Bundaberg) vegetation fire as at 1.2...5pm Sat 7 Nov Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a cane field fire in Bundaberg Ring Road at Ashfield. This fire is posing no threat to property at this time but is producing a lot of smoke. Residents should keep windows and doors closed and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.

04.01.2022 FIRE NORTH OF BUNDABERG UPDATE: Queensland Fire and Emergency Service is on hand to help control a burn at Tantitha which is causing a lot of smoke. There is ...a vegetation fire burning between Whymere Road and Melaleuca Road in Gooburrum. This fire is posing no threat to property at this time but is producing a lot of smoke. Firefighters are working to control the fire. Nearby residents may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the afternoon. Motorists using Gooburrum Road and Moore Park Road should drive with caution and to conditions.
