10.01.2022 Big and very interesting day in Canberra on Friday where I was honoured to have the opportunity to talk about my experiences in rural allied health service delivery and challenges therein. 07.01.2022 In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Deadly Ears Program is acting to reduce the risk for those people living in regional and remote communities. To date, we ...have postponed face-to-face outreach services up to the end of May. The situation for services after this date is being regularly reviewed and we will notify people if/when there are further changes. We are working hard to develop alternate models of service delivery to connect with the children referred in to the Deadly Ears clinic. If anyone has pressing concerns for a child booked into a Deadly Ears clinic can you please make contact with their regular GP for follow up. Our thoughts are with local health services in these times of increased stress. Please support the local health workforce by following the COVID-19 precautions. See more

02.01.2022 Today is National Sorry Day. It is a day to remember the impact, pain and sorrow caused by the forced removal and separation from family, culture and country. ... It is a day for community to come together and acknowledge the past as we work towards healing and reconciliation for our future generations. The native hibiscus flower is the official symbol for Sorry Day and symbolises the resilience and healing of the Stolen Generations. #QAIHC #health #NationalSorryDay #Aboriginal #TorresStraitIslander
