17.01.2022 The Traralgon Dojo Supports Karateka Sean Rowson. Sean a committed Traralgon Dojo student competed in the Traralgon One Match in February this year and unfortun...ately broke two bones in his arm. Sean has had pins placed in his arm and has been unable to return to work. He now requires a further operation to place a piece of his hip bone into the arm to help mend the bones. This operation will mean Sean will be unable to work for considerable time afterwards. The Traralgon Dojo would like to support Sean Rowson with some financial help. He has been out of work since March and although he does not complain. It is my understanding that he and his family are doing it tough. It is times like this that the Kyokushin community comes together to support each other. This Fridays training session, (8th July @ 5.30pm) we will dedicate our kumite to Sean and invite all Shihancho Branch members to take part. We ask all Karateka taking part to donate what they can to support Sean. A donation box will be placed at the front desk for people to donate. I have spoken to our Branch Chief, Shihancho Gary Viccars today about what we are doing. He fully supports our efforts and has donated $500 on the behalf of the branch to get things started. If you feel you want to support Sean but cannot attend this Friday. Donations can be made into the TBK bank account and you can be assured that they will be passed onto Sean.
