19.01.2022 Round 1 of the Men's and Women's state league complete The Women had 3 tough games and came away with 2 wins against Wynyard and Launceston Mariah Payne returned with style averaging 34 points and was the top scorer for the weekend for all women It was great to see Ellie Collins back in the black and gold as well averaging 21 points The ladies performed really well with a lot of the girls not having played together before the weekend Great scoring support roles from... Reese Davis and Tash Moretti both shooting the ball well from outside and some great defensive efforts from Abbey Payne over the weekend The Men came away with 1 great win over the Grenadiers and a tough loss to Somerset and the High Performance Team The boys battled the whole weekend with only 5 players and put up a terrific effort All players had some great performances with Brad Simpson averaging 23 points and Joe Chilcott 22.3 points being the most influential on the scoreboard We look forward to the next round of games and seeing what our Men and Women can produce in this competition

12.01.2022 Due to unforeseen circumstances of a serious nature it has been necessary to postpone the Aussie Burnie NWBU U22 roster first semi-final scheduled for Tuesday 27 October at the Wynyard Basketball Stadium to Friday 30 October. The games will remain at Wynyard with the times remaining as 6:45pm for the women and 8:15pm for the men.
