These FREE days are designed for athletes (4 - 14 yrs) and their famili...es to learn more about what Little Athletics has to offer. Tiny Tots aged 3-4 years will participate in a 45 minute Tiny Tot program. Children aged 5-14 will participate in a series of events Little Athletics has to offer over a two hour period. Hobart Saturday 26 September 2020 Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart - 9:15am sign in Penguin Sunday 27 September 2020 Dial Sports Complex, Penguin - 9:15am sign in Launceston Sunday 27 September 2020 Northern Athletics Centre, St Leonards - 2:15pm sign in Participants in the Come & Try Days will commence with a warm-up before trying out up to three track and field events, assisted by accredited Little Athletics coaches and officials. 18.01.2022 Burnie Invitation Day is set for Saturday 9th January and is open to any registered little athlete from around the state. 10am start. Finish time Approx 2pm. Great prizes up for grabs in our raffle including a barbecue and accessories to the value of $500. Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5. Entry fee $5 per athlete. Come and enjoy a meet at our Burnie Centre, the only place to be! Program attached. 1A

14.01.2022 So who’s ready for another athletic season! A few big changes this year. Obviously this year we have Covid 19. Gates will be open at 7.45am so spectators have time to register and competitors name tagged before 8.30am start. To register your attendance, a name and contact no with the amount of people accompanying you is sufficient. Eg Michelle Scolyer + 2. There’s no need to register athletes as they are recorded on the result sheets. Everyone will need to sanitise on en...try and at stations as required throughout the venue. Marshalling of athletes will be on the infield at 8.30am where further instructions will be given. There is no centre challenges this year as we now have 3 All States. 1 in the south, 1 in the north and 1 in the north west. The Penguin track is also in a 3 year rotation with the 3 State events. This year we kick it off with the State Multi. Lastly we are abolishing the timing gates and going to photo finish. Thanks to Phil Clayton for helping us with the transition and training. To do this we will all need to endure some changes and your patience through this transition will be appreciated. 11.01.2022 IMPORTANT NORTHERN ALL STATE UPDATE: There is a minor adjustment to the program for tomorrow's Northern All State. The scheduled 70m events will now be replac...ed with 100m events. This is due to the fact that 70m can only be offered up to Under 10 at State level. As the program is already completed, it is not practical to have some do 70m and some do 100m so the simplest decision is to replace the 70m with 100m. Amendments will be made to the remaining All State meets this season to ensure that U6 to U10 athletes still get the opportunity to do 70m. 05.01.2022 No crews have been set so everyone attending the Northern All State tomorrow will need to pitch in and help with duties otherwise it will be a very long day.

04.01.2022 Registrations are now open for the U12/U13 Coaching Camp to be held at Camp Banksia 10th - 14th January 2021 . Places are limited with numbers capped at 72 (36... boys and 36 girls). The camp generally sells out quickly so if you wish to book your place please do so sooner rather than later. The camp fee of $350.00 will be invoiced once your online booking is complete. A deposit of $200.00 is required by the end of October to secure your booking, with the balance payable by the 30th November 2020.
