25.01.2022 Introducing the new Burnie Shines Logo! Logo design based on an original design by Macy Poke (Marist College)

23.01.2022 During COVID19 lockdown Reflexions Dance Studio created a short film piece titled "Chair Dance" all taught to students via Zoom. The piece explores the idea of being restricted to a small space and shows how adaptable and creative we can be with such limitations. Filmed on iPhones and edited by Jason Bakes. Choreographed by Fiona Bakes and performed by the Reflexions Dance Studio's contemporary dancers. https://youtu.be/Zrrc5lXreZA

Our Graphic Designer has enhanced Macy's design with colours from the Burnie City Council logo.... Thanks to all who entered the competition.
