21.01.2022 Another full house this weekend. The Gooree Cup race meeting is today and St George play The Knights at Glen Willow Stadium tomorrow. There are various support teams playing, our guests Daughter is playing a womens touch footy game. Some estimate an extra 10,000 people will be in town. Church St Farmers Markets are on tomorrow too. All the Wine Tours are booked out so looks like Mudgee will be buzzing.

16.01.2022 Went to a fabulous little winery near Hangar House called 1838 Wines and Olive Nest. Beautiful oils, tapenades and wine.

06.01.2022 This morning we harvested some ripe olives, salted them and wait eagerly to see how they turn out. This involves turning the bucket daily to allow the juices to drain until the olives are to our taste. Then we can freeze them in snap lock bags! Flavour and marinate as we like.
