25.01.2022 We cooked cookies!!! Friday Funday!!!! Happy holidays.. We are now closed for two weeks.. If you would like to join us after the break we will be reopening Friday the 9th of October.

23.01.2022 Cleaning up the yard with the mowers, making music, dancing to cool songs and making crabs Today we all made a comment of positivity on a pair of jeans they are going to go on display in the garden on our Positivititree. We could all do with something positive and every once in a while a nice complement
22.01.2022 Today we played outside on the climbing fort, had a game of bocce and played catch and kick, we made peg caterpillars and created wooden beaded necklaces and bracelets and then little pineapple and ham pizzas.

21.01.2022 Today we got our craft on making pool noodle ponies. (Song) Gonna take my pony to the playgroup room, I’m gonna ride till I can’t no more!! We had fun on the bikes, the sandpit and pushing the trucks around. ... It was nice in the sun. Welcome to the Newmembers. Sessions are on Monday and Fridays 9am till 11am. (Bookings are essential).
21.01.2022 Today we made dinosaur fossils with air dry clay, painted some beautiful paintings with pink and purple paint, climbed on the play fort and played with the bikes but the best thing of all we had Parachute fun!!!!
21.01.2022 These bubbles always fall over and the liquid comes out before you even get a chance to have a go. A little bit of masking tape and we now have a bubble station!!! Today, we made bee’s wax food wraps, they turned out pretty good for our first go.. Make your own food wraps:... You need cotton fabric and bee’s wax, an iron and some baking paper. You then grate a layer of bee’s wax on to the fabric. Then put the fabric between two layers of baking paper and iron until the bee’s wax is melted. Easy... This Friday will be our last session before the School holidays.. If you would like to join us just send a pm or email., If you would like to join us after the school holidays we have sessions on both Monday and Friday 9am till 11am. 20.01.2022 ECDP and Playgroup Burnside ECDP, ECDP Playgroup and Community Playgroup can operate as normal in Term 3, as long as clear Covid Safe Plans are adhered to. Those wishing to attend playgroups must book in ahead of the time, and sign in. There will be correct physical distancing and numbers limited according to space use. Any shared resources must be limited and cleaned thoroughly between use. Any parent or child who presents as unwell must leave immediately.
19.01.2022 Today was full of all the wonderful things we get up to at Playgroup. Painting, drawing and making friends. Today we explored caring for plants and looking after our worm farm.. it’s amazing that children really love to learn and play with living things. Today just felt like a pancake kind of day.. we made strawberry jam pancakes.
18.01.2022 Today we made some keyrings and some peg craft, played with puzzles and read some books the weather was a little wet but it didn’t stop us... We have 2 more sessions before the school holidays. If you would like to join us just pm or email us.
16.01.2022 These gorgeous little flowers are blooming in our bush tucker garden. Native violet- you will see these pretty flowers at all the fancy cafe’s. They are used to decorate cakes or sprinkled on pancakes but you can also add these to salads with their small green leaves also..
16.01.2022 Kiya went to Maryborough with Larissa and Sebastian. What an amazing time she had visiting Mary Poppins.
14.01.2022 At Playgroup we do messy play, we do story’s and songs, we do painting and art collage, we do cooking and play with playdough, we have science activities like slime and balloon rockets, we have dress-ups and role play with puppets, we play musical instruments, we dance, we play puzzles, we dress and play with dolls, we recycle, we look after our worm farm, we plant plants in our veggie patch, we draw and create art works with chalk on a big chalk board, we ride bikes, we have sports activities, we have water play, we play in our little kitchen, we build with blocks, we save dinosaurs from being fossils, but the best thing at Playgroup is we make lots of friendships.
13.01.2022 Look at me!!! Throwing balls and climbing on the fort are some of my favourite things to do. Celebrating science month at Playgroup. Today we investigated blowing up balloons with science... Even at 4 years old, we know what gas is made when you mix these two ingredients Carbon dioxide!! amazing little scientist!!!

11.01.2022 The rain doesn’t stop us having fun! We had a ball outside on the bikes and mowing. We attempted a game of bocce (pretty good for a first time) and made Pom Pom poppers. Finished off the morning sharing homemade scones, jam and cream. If you would like to join us, just send a PM. Sessions are 9am till 11am on Monday and Fridays. Come have a play!!!
09.01.2022 Today we made a Monster from a pool noodle, pipe cleaners, feathers and milk bottle lids. The children also play freely, choosing activities such as puzzles, painting and blowing bubbles.
09.01.2022 Today we had a party and made our own party hat then we had a dance with the Wiggles!!! Look at my beautiful artwork.. painting so much fun!!! The rain made some little puddles for us all to stomp in.. Sessions are on both Monday and Fridays 9am till 11am. Come along and have a play!

08.01.2022 Super fun day making slime. It’s not as hard as it looks. Reading books and playing in the sandpit. Kiah is going for a sleep over with one of her playgroup friends. I wonder what adventures she’ll get up to?

05.01.2022 Happy Children’s Day 2020 for tomorrow We created some drawings to send out in the post to some Elders. We had a beautiful morning, making fairies and playing in the yard and having a yarn.

Playgroup Queensland is a business operating und...er a COVID-Safe Plan, so we can continue to deliver during this time.
