25.01.2022 If you missed the Senior and Junior information sessions held this week you may have missed that training has begun. Please check out the table of days and times for the appropriate age groups. Ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the allocated time and report to the covid officer to sign in and sanitise hands (Junior covid officers will be the appropriate team coaches and wearing a red safety vest. Senior Covid officers are wearing red safety vests for each group) Remember, p...arents will need to sign in and out their child via the QR code using the camera on your phone. Follow the link and complete the form with your child's name. The QR Codes are posted (with instructions) around the nets and carpark entrances, as well as your Covid Officer will have on hand and can assist. 12yr and under are not required to wear masks. 13+ are required to have mask and wearing them to and from training. Parents are not to congregate near the areas allocated for training including the two grounds and nets. Keep your 1.5M, masks on and within groups of no more than 10 people as per government restrictions. TODAY, our North West Metropolitan Cricket Association season kicks off for our Burnside senior men's teams. In the coming weeks our boys, girls and women's teams start their season also. 17.01.2022 Congratulations Big congratulations are in order for our very own Chand Negi who has been selected to play Premier Women's cricket at Carlton-Brunswick Strikers this season. Chand joined our inaugural premiership winning women's team in 2018/19 season and quickly honed in on the stumps, becoming a damaging bowler. With 35 wickets in 30 games and a healthy average of 11.74, she also took out the NWMCA league bowling award last season and our club's bowling average ...and MVP. Handy with the bat too averaging 24. Congratulations Chand on your future success! 15.01.2022 This week's milestones is a biggy! First junior to play 100 games for BSUCC as a junior is Ethan Dalla Rosa. Started his BSUCC journey in Milo at the age of 5, then U10s for 3 years, follwed by U12s and now in his 2nd year of U14s, and a handful of senior games too. For such a young club in it's 12th year, these 100 game milestones for our juniors will be coming thick and fast.
