17.01.2022 Here are some of the items we have received from Crafty Pirates, https://www.facebook.com/2craftypirates/ a company who makes beautiful laser cut items with all proceeds of sales going straight to the Cancer Council. Their story is a sad one as many of us can relate to. At Burnt Enz we are proud to be able to do our part in raising funds for much needed research, all items will be available in store and online, postage can be arranged for these items upon request.

16.01.2022 Last week we got our first consignment of stock from https://www.facebook.com/Wildheartwoodcraft/ these will be available online and in store, they are all beautifully handmade, all made from different timbers making them all one of a kind pieces and a perfect gift for someone special. They come to you boxed and with a pen refill, we are so excited to be stocking Martin’s stunning items and can’t wait to bring a larger range of items to you in the very near future.

16.01.2022 A common request that I have come up is a can you make this for me, the answer most commonly is yes. Here is an image I was sent by a customer of what they were wanting and my result when finished. I love doing jobs like this they make you think outside of the box with no plans.

I did wonder if we were going to make it through when Covid arrived, but with the wonderful support each and every one of you, we have not only stayed open and moving forward but growing aswell, allowing us to make beautiful items to decorate your homes and gift to your family and friends. Your invaluable support has not only kept our doors open but has also kept us busier than we have ever been. Bring on 2021! We have lots of plans for some new and exciting things to come. 09.01.2022 Here is a special one I have been working on for my son’s Birthday. It is made of Tasmanian Oak and granite tiles, the drawers are lined with felt to protect the pieces, with a drawer on each side for ease of play, incredibly solid. I am so happy with the results I know we will have many games on this and it’s something he will have forever made with love especially for him.

09.01.2022 Another custom order, a multi purpose storage box very solid and sturdy, just waiting for its coat of paint. This is 1400L x 500H x 400W.

09.01.2022 A couple of custom tables that have 2 different height settings these are 2100L x 450W, heights are 250H Picnic table height and 800H. The stain is Dark chocolate with a satin varnish finish.

04.01.2022 As we draw to a close for what had been a truely memorable year, I would like to take a moment to thank a couple of exceptional people who have been instrumental in keeping the wheels turning this year. Suzanne O'Shea for all your lost hours buried in setting up and maintaining the website, for not laughing at me too much while I try to navigate it all. Nicole Tuckwood for all your hard work, so many hours, patience and laughter while we have strived to complete so many orders and new projects. My beautiful little girl Izzy who inspires me daily and gives me purpose. To all of you Thankyou from the bottom of my heart, Covid has sent us some challenges but we have met them head on and conquered every single one. 2021 is going to be a fantastic year with all we have planned. #watchusgrow

Each of these are made of Solid Tasmanian oak and finished with just a clear finish to highlight the natural beauty of the timber, the hooks are repurposed from a piece belonging to our customers grandmother making the shelf a very special and treasured piece. I’m absolutely delighted with the outcome of these.
