25.01.2022 One more sleep and swimming lessons begin. We are pumped to be open again and ready to get back into the water and see our students. Office and operating hours Monday to Friday 8am to 1130am and 230pm to 630pm. Saturday 7am to 2pm... Lap swimming 8am to 1130am for now, we will extend hours in the coming months. For any enquiry it is best to come into the office as the first week of term is always busy.

25.01.2022 The Olly pool now has the new liner installed and new blankets. It looks amazing and will be ready to go for Term 4. This will no longer be the baby POOL due to its new depth, we will have our Stingray to Orca swimmers learning in here.

25.01.2022 The owner of Monty has informed us that he will be leaving on Saturday to assist children in Equestrian. Monty has been a beautiful part of Burpengary for so long. All the children, families and staff will miss him greatly.

25.01.2022 Well the lockdown is over as of 6pm tonight however we are required to wear masks for the next 10 days. Any person entering the facility must wear a mask and sign in electronically upon entry. Parents sitting on deck, must wear a mask at all times. Students in squads and the Junior Lifeguard program are not required to wear a mask.... Aqua will be on Wednesday at 8am, mask and social distancing still applies.

24.01.2022 Thank you to Moreton Bay Regional Council for providing funding and the opportunity to purchase new lifejackets and an inflatable boat. Burpengary Aquatics was successful in obtaining a $1300 grant to purchase lifejackets and the inflatable boat so we can offer our communuty aquatic programs that develop and strengthen your water safety skills and knowledge while instilling confidence when in and around water. 24.01.2022 Underwater Photos are coming to Burpengary Swim School !! These were such a hit last year that we thought we would do it again. If you wish to have your child's photo taken, please contact Scuba Pic to organise your photo. Scuba Pic will be in the water from Monday 9th to Saturday 14th November taking photos.

19.01.2022 Monday 7th September our current students will roll over into their current classes for Term 4 lessons. You will receive an invoice for term 4 lessons. Pay before 6th October to receive your 10% discount. If you are not swimming term 4 please send an email advising to cancel for Term 4 to [email protected] or you will incur lesson fees. We will take new student enrolments from Monday 21st September. For new students, please go to our website and complete the enrolment form.

18.01.2022 This THURSDAY 9th & FRIDAY 10th July the learn to swim office will be open from 9am to 3pm to take payments for term 3 lessons, answer any enquiries and take new enrolments into Term 3. :) :) We have goggles and caps on special, so come on down and grab your gear and be ready for Term 3.

18.01.2022 We will be holding 4 weeks of 5 day Fast Track Intensive programs over the December & January School holidays. The first of Intensives is from 14th to 18th December. We now have our classes set up ready to take enrolments, see our schedule below. If you are a current student, enrol into your current level. 15.01.2022 Yesterday, Miss Petrina was presented an Australian Long Service Order (Award) by the Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the honourable Paul de Jersey AC QC at Government House Brisbane. Miss Petrina has been a staff member at Burpengary Aquatics since it was purchased by Royal Life Saving ten years ago. During this time, she has worked very hard and taught almost 5000 children in our community how to swim. Miss Petrina is a great asset to our facility and a fantastic teacher. Well done Miss Petrina and we hope we have you for another 10 years. :)

14.01.2022 We have Squad kits available at a great price. The kit includes a set of fins, a streamline kickboard, a pool buoy, a mesh bag and a swim cap for $95.00! We recommend our mini and junior squad swimmers have their own swim kit for Term 4. You can purchase the kit even if you do not swim in our Squads.

14.01.2022 Lots of work has been happening around the Centre the last few months and the staff have been working hard. We are creating an alfresco outside area which will be a lovely space for business meetings, network groups, morning breakfast or just a nice space for a great coffee. We cant wait for this area to be finished, theres more to come

09.01.2022 Prior to COVID we had over 1000 families in our Swim School, we now have 750 families in our Swim School ready and waiting for lessons to commence next week. From all of our Staff here at Burpengary Aquatics, we want to thank all of our families and students, Aqua participants and lap swimmers who have stayed with us through out this crazy time, rode the changes with us and waited patiently for us to reopen. A big thank you to all for being loyal to Burpengary Aquatics, we cant wait to see you all and make this a new and exciting year :) :)

08.01.2022 We still have a few positions remaining in our 5 day Fast Track Intensive program. The program is available both weeks of the holidays. Do you have an older child who wants to do something different in the holidays? Join our Junior Lifeguard program! the course covers dangers in all aquatic environments, CPR, basic first aid, survival skills and lots of water safety activities and rescues. It is a fun and interactive program for all ages. 9am to 10am for 5 days each week of the holidays.

07.01.2022 The Olly pool is getting a whole new facelift. The Pool liner is getting replaced, the outside painted and panels replaced. All classes have been moved to either the Tadpole or 25m POOL until it reopens.

05.01.2022 To organise your term 3 lessons, join our swim school or to make payments, please come into the office as this is a quicker and clearer process. If you are wanting to start next week when the term begins or need to make a movement we recommend you come into the office tomorrow from 9am. Many emails and messages are being sent on a daily basis and we are getting through these. With emails going back and forward, we may not get to your enquiry by next Monday. 03.01.2022 Good morning Learn to Swim parents, Royal Life Saving Society is offering a free CPR course for one parent from each of our enrolled families. If you have a friend who pays for a CPR course you will receive your CPR for free. CPR is generally $40.00 per person however we are offering this for $20.00 for your friend and you get your course for free. ... If you are interested, please email [email protected] and let them know you are a Burpengary learn to swim family, they will confirm with us that you are currently enrolled and they can book you into a course. The courses are held here at Burpengary Aquatics. This is a great price to learn such a vital skill or you may need to do an update for work. This is a August special only so please take advantage of this offer.

Naomi has over 10 years experience with a variety of fitness regimes. She is fun, motivated and enthusiastic and will definitely get you moving. 02.01.2022 WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Royal Life Saving is looking for parents of children under the age of 5 to take part in an online focus group. The group will run for... approximately 60 minutes and will discuss concepts for a new toddler drowning prevention media campaign. You will need to be able to use Zoom on a laptop or desktop computer (not a phone) to take part.
