23.01.2022 Health Alert: Qld Health have informed us that there is an outbreak of gastroenteritis in South-East Queensland in a number of schools and childcare settings. The spread of gastroenteritis can be prevented with good hand hygiene and staying at home when unwell.

11.01.2022 Important Reminders - BMSS School Photos Thursday 20 Aug 2020 Parents/carers are asked to ensure that students are in full school uniform and are neatly groomed for the School Photos. Each year we ask that all shirts are buttoned to the top and tucked in for photos (no senior shirts or sports shirts please). For the sake of consistency, students do not wear jumpers in their photos. Students should wear their hair in accordance with the BMSS Dress Code:... Long hair should be kept back to promote good hygiene and so that it doesnt interfere with student learning. Hair ties and head bands are to be plain and practical, and in school colours only. Hair styles are to be neat, practical and natural. This includes both hair colour and styling. Inappropriate hair styles include mohawks, tracks and unnatural hair colours (e.g purple, green etc). Excessive use of hair product is strongly discouraged. Payment envelopes were distributed through the school office; however, payment is made directly to the photographers as per instructions on the envelope. The BMSS Office is not able to respond to School Photo enquiries any questions or concerns should be made directly to MSP Photography.

08.01.2022 With the school year coming to a close, we would like to remind you to collect all medication for your child by the end of the last day of term. Medication that has not been collected will be taken to the nearest pharmacy and disposed of responsibly. We do not hold any medication on the school grounds throughout the school 6 week vacations.
