Gardens with home-grown, locally luscious produce, what more could we all want. Tickets on sale early next year. See you there

19.01.2022 A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE INVOLVED-RECORD NUMBERS ATTEND OPEN GARDENS Open Gardens was such a hit this year for garden lovers that some visitors were going back to their fave gardens several times and bringing their friends. So many helped make our event a success, we can't thank everyone, but please know we're extremely grateful to you for sharing your time. Our gardeners did a sterling job, the gardens were postively stunning and gave pleasure and inspiration to so ...many. We'll catch up with you all soon, a mammoth thank you and super hugs. Presenters added another layer with workshops and fascinating discussions, we like to think we've all made new friends, Goyder Region certainly has. Special thanks to Karen Montgomery, Dr Lucy Sutherland, Trevor Nottle, Christine McCabe, Penelope and Tansy Curtin, lastly Sarah Cheesmur for her wonderful Fairy workshop. We musn't foget Remy Catchlove her talented assistant. Thank you to the Visitor's Centre, Gally's Meeting House and Hallett Country store for ticket sales and customer care. Sponsors mustn't be forgotten-Goyder Council, AGL, Dan van Holst Pellekaan and SA Life. Also to NARC for letting us see their gorgeous cars. 18.01.2022 GENEROUS GARDENERS FLY THE FLAG FOR GOYDER. What an unforgettable event, and who made it so? Our group may have done the organising, but most of the credit must go to the gardeners. These wonderful gregarious people have worked for months to produce not one or two gardens, but a delight for the senses across the region with 15 gardens open. They are the unsung heroes and exceptional ambassadors for our region showcasing our sense of community, ability to work to...gether and welcoming visitors to enjoy the warm country lifestyle. Not only do they work hard during the lead up, they give their whole weekend freely to visitors, sharing knowledge, gardening tales, plants and country morning teas. Record numbers of visitors came to spend time in the gardens with the whole region benefitting. Large numbers of tourists mean a boost for local businesses and they in turn help keep our local economy thriving. THANK YOU GARDENERS AND THEIR HELPERS SEE YOU NEXT YEAR See more
