17.01.2022 Hey guys, just would like to announce there will be a SKID day held in Trent's HONOUR!!! The event will be held at the local Maryborough speedway on the 6th of ...July. There will be prize money$$$ and a trophy up for grabs in Trent's honour!!! Also money raised will go to the local Ambulance committee. Will keep everyone up to date with the start time. Could I get everyone that has a SKID car to enter and come along and show support for TWALT!!! So please read, respect and abide by the rules to help the day come to together and for everyone to enjoy. If it’s not an event for you due to the rules that we must run by please DO NOT nominate! EVENT DETAILS Gates open at 10:00am Burnouts from 12:00 - FINISH 6:30pm sharp. ... - Competitors please nominate via the Maryborough Speedway website PLUS please fill out the COVID Entry to Venue form. (Links below) https://maryboroughspeedway.com.au/?page_id=2287 https://maryboroughspeedway.com.au/?page_id=4354 - Nominations close on 22/9/2020 at 5:00 PM or prior if capped numbers are reached - Nomination fee is $55-00 this includes one free gate entry for the nominated entrant with $5-00 from each nomination going to the Walters Family chosen charity "The Dylan Alcott Foundation" - All nominations must be pre-paid to be accepted. - SCRUTINEERING will be done at your pit bay we will come to you. Cars will be accepted up until 30 minutes before competition start time. -Vehicles must be separated by 4m area for each pit for Social Distancing between yourself and the next competitor - spots will be marked for each pit area.. - All cars must comply with 95 D.B.A. (Council are coming out on the day to monitor, so please don't wreck the event for everyone else) - NO PASSENGERS as per the distancing requirements of the current COVID restrictions - There is a possibility due to COVID restrictions that NO BAR will be in operation ,if we do get a permit and it does open as per any bar you must be seated to drink alcohol within the designated bar area. - No unnecessary revving of engines before the start of the event and after the event at all, - Any Trailer skids are you are out and you will not be back!, (All the rules in more detail plus scrutineering, points etc. will be sent out after the flyer) COVID RULES - Our aim is to make the track available BUT with the best protection for you and the people you live and work with. - Compliance with the COVID safe practices in place are the personal responsibility of every person who enters the complex. - If you have been in any of the COVID HOTSPOTS as listed on the Qld Government site you will be unable to attend our complex. - For the safety of our patrons and competitors the general admission area and pit area will remain completely segregated at all times - this includes before and after the event - Social Distancing must be observed at all times - Use the hand santiser stations / wash your hands ! - It is strongly recommended that you have the COVID Safe app operational on your phone whilst in the complex
