25.01.2022 With Spring a few days away, this is often the best time to have your pets wormed (a handy trick to know when 3 months is up is to go by the change in season!). Our adult dogs need worming once every 3 months after 6 months of age, while our younger ones need it more regularly. Worming is important to not only protect your pet, but your family also. Without regular worming, children can have these worms migrate through their skin and affect multiple organs (including their eyes!). Call in for a chat and let us keep your family happy and healthy all year round

24.01.2022 Happy Birthday Nurse Jess! Here she is with Tammy during puppy preschool where she's teaching her "off" and take it". Nurse Jess runs regular puppy preschool classes here in The Oaks to help our newest family members navigate the human world. Wish her a big happy birthday and we hope she enjoys her day

24.01.2022 Welcome to Week 4, our last post in our skin allergy series. This week, join Nurse Jess to talk about Chronic Atopic Dermatitis, which means "long term or ongoing skin issue". Learn more with Nurse Jess on how we can kick your pets itching for good

24.01.2022 Welcome to week 2 of our skin allergies series. This week, Nurse Gemma will take you briefly through what contact allergies are and how to spot if your pet may be suffering from them. 23.01.2022 **UPDATE: For those following along at home, Mr Doug is a South African Boerboel. They are a large mastiff type dog and get reach up to 90kg when fully grown! Happy Friday! We hope everyone is safe and well. This is Doug, a 4 month pup weighing 25kg that visited us yesterday for his last puppy vaccination. While he may not look unusual, he isn’t a breed we commonly see. Today we wanted to play guess that breed. Do you know what breed Doug is? #puppiesofinstagram #sosnuggly #veterinarymedicine #burragorangvetclinic #burragorang #dougthestud

15.01.2022 It's that time again where we are seeing an influx of puppies come through our clinic doors! If you've been lucky to have a cute new family member, you're in luck! Our puppy preschool classes start this week. Did you know behavioural issues are the main reason why most pets are re-homed or euthanized? We are passionate about ensuring your newest fur baby is healthy both physically and mentally. These classes help introduce your pup to a vet clinic, meet the staff, and me...et other dogs of varying shapes and sizes (for some dogs this can be very scary). The classes help them learn acceptable social habits, while learning a few tricks along the way. These classes are run with one of our highly trained nurses and go for 5 weeks. Give us a call to find out how we can help your pooch live it's best life

14.01.2022 A friendly reminder Father's Day is this weekend. Don't forget to get him something special, whether he's a human dad or fur dad
