07.01.2022 We were so lucky to have the very talented Stephanie Hoskin a local Burringbar children’s book author come to our preschool 2 weeks ago to read to the children one of her newly released books from the Three Black Hens series. Steph then showed the children how to draw a chicken from the book in which they all had a go at drawing their own chickens. It is so important to develop a child’s love of reading as it develops their vocabulary, knowledge and understanding, it introduces new ideas and ways of thinking. It can spark ones imagination and creativity plus many many more skills. Thanks Steph for sharing your talent with us all.
