25.01.2022 Congratulations to Malcolm Draffin who was yesterday presented with Life Membership of the Burrumbeet Park and Windermere Race Club.

25.01.2022 During these difficult times it is great to see the racing industry continue. Hoping that by the 1st of Jan we will be able to have crowds at Burrumbeet.

25.01.2022 The Committee and Members of the Burrumbeet Park and Windermere Race Club are saddened by the passing of our Treasurer, Committee Member and Sponsor Graham Biggs. Our thoughts are with Hayley, the Biggs family and staff at GB Fastners. We are very grateful for the contribution Graham has made in the local community and know that he will be missed by many.

25.01.2022 We were hoping that by now we would have been given some advice about New Year’s Day races. Unfortunately we are still waiting to hear whether we will be able to host the Petrogas Burrumbeet Cup race day. We are hoping that the restrictions on crowds will be part of the easing of restrictions, and with just over 8 weeks to go we have our fingers crossed that we will be able to host our race day in front of our loyal supporters in a COVID safe environment. As soon as we get confirmation, we will let everyone know.

22.01.2022 Due to the current Regional Restrictions the Burrumbeet Park & Windermere Racing Club AGM will be postponed until a later date.

22.01.2022 Last chance for tickets. At 3pm tomorrow tickets will no longer be available. The only option is to pre purchase an Umbrella Package. This includes 10 entry tickets, umbrella, table, 10 chairs and 30 beer/wine tickets. $500 https://country.racing.com//2021-0/petrogas-burrumbeet-cup

20.01.2022 The 131st Burrumbeet Cup will kick off racing in the new year tomorrow. The Mitch Freedman trained Not To Know is looking to go back-to-back, but another local ...is in good form and could cause an upset. 08.01.2022 We have received news that our permit has been approved to host 1500 patrons on race day. However we are not going to be able to adjust the packages that we have for sale. This is due to a number of reasons that are just beyond our control. We would love to be able to sell individual tickets, but this is just not possible under the current environment and the late notice of having our permit approved. Unfortunately the only tickets available continue to be umbrella packages. Once these sell out there will be no other tickets available. Once again we apologise to everyone that this does not suit, but under the current conditions we are trying to do the best we can to have this event proceed. https://country.racing.com//2021-0/petrogas-burrumbeet-cup

01.01.2022 With the recent announcements about increased crowds at events, we have reason to be optimistic about the New Year’s day races going ahead. But in what shape or form is not yet known. We must wait and see whether we will be approved to host an event and then will need to work out how to make the event COVID safe. Once we know more we will share it with everyone, but with only 5 weeks to go we are already expecting significant changes if the races do go ahead.
