08.01.2022 I am so deeply saddened. All three of my parrots suddenly died tonight. RIP Wasabi - 14 years old, I've had him for 7 years. RIP Chalka - 26 years old, I've had... him for 26 years. RIP Cozmo - 18 years old, I've had him for 18 years. They died in our arms with-in 20 minutes of each other. They knew as they passed that we loved them. Apparently self cleaning ovens (which we ran tonight) puts off a toxic gas that can kill pets especially birds. I’m asking all of you to ***PLEASE SHARE THIS!*** so that other pet birds and pets don’t have to die. I am a life long bird owner, I knew that using non-stick pans was toxic but had never heard about the Self cleaning ovens being a problem. I have run it before without any sign of my birds getting sick. How many other people have lost their pet birds to toxic fumes? What’s more, if those fumes are fatal enough to kill birds and other pets what does it do to humans, especially our children? See more
