04.01.2022 We had a new perpetual trophy this year THE JUNIOR RISING FLAME We feel it is important to recognise one of our Up and coming Basketball Super Stars from our U10’s or U12 age group. Legacy Harris is our first recipient of this award she has made exceptional progress in developing her basketball skills and ability this season. Dedication, commitment and sportsmanship are key elements to being a recipient of this award. ... Legacy is at every Flames training and gameday plus does extra trainings weekly and respects the coaches, officials and umpires. As a club we decided to challenge 2 players this season to play 2 divisions due to numbers and ability. She rose to this occasion and scored 68 points for her under 14s team. In addition she scored a whopping 164 points in her under 12s team and is a leader on and off the court. She consistently works hard at both ends of the court. She was also due to represent KBA in Feb at the country championships in a division higher than her age group. She is also part of the Rising Stars program run by KBA. Legacy Harris you are our First RISING FLAME and we are so proud of how your basketball journey is progressing. Well Done and keep Loving Basketball.
