10.01.2022 A Covid-19 update while shopping with us As we try to make your shopping experience as easy and efficient as possible we have introduced some new measures to keep everyone safe. A few changes you will see at the checkouts to ensure the most effective protection for both you and our team members during this Covid-19 situation. ... We ask you to consider social distancing of 1.5 meters while shopping throughout the store and queuing at the registers. 05.01.2022 To our loyal and valued customers, Our response to various queries, questions and complaints. - Our store is totally overwhelmed with the surge in customer traffic and demand for stock due to the Covid19. Our team are doing their best! - Our standard operating hours will remain the same.... - We are experiencing high levels of out of stock items. If the item is not on the shelf, we don't have it in stock or know exactly when our next delivery is arriving. The wholesalers we buy off are falling way behind now due to the panic buying. We are relying on multiple factors that are out of our control when it comes to our stock levels. - Any customer who attempts to get physical, abusive and racist will be asked to leave their purchases behind and to leave the store. We have ZERO TOLERANCE for this kind of behavior. - We have implemented buying restrictions on products in our store to ensure access to stock is fair and our team members will be enforcing these restrictions. - We are not holding any exclusive shopping hours for seniors and disability card holders. We have purchase limits that apply to everyone for this reason. If there are individuals which are struggling to get supplies we are making an effort to assist them. - We will not be discriminating against our customers based on where they live as this is impossible to administer and would only subject our team members to further abuse and further slow down our Register service. -We hope our customers support our decisions on product restrictions and that you respect the need to get goods to as many customer as possible. -Customers returning several times daily with large basket shops will be discouraged. This only subjects our team members to further abuse We are doing the best we can given the circumstances. Our team members are doing their best everyday to ensure stock is on the shelves and supply is fair and available to everyone. Please stop taking your frustrations out on our staff for doing their job! But also ask yourself this question while you are shopping in our store....
